She did a make up programme on Bbc3 so maybe not live presenting.

Craig is going to be on Loose women bless him he is going to be bombarded for the gossip and not be able to talk about the thing he is on for.

It could well be someone unexpected, relatively unknown, or at least one half of the presenting duo is… I suppose it could be a you tuber. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing either (not that I know much about you tubers!)
Whoever it turns out to be, no one’s bigger than the show. We’ll miss Tess and Claud for a while, then move on. That’s the fickle general public for you.

I would think Kai would want remain a pro for a few years yet - despite appearing to have been born in the 1920s he's still only a kid.

This is true. I've always enjoyed her - she looks fabulous and she does the job well enough, and she's been part of the show since the beginning so there's the nostalgia effect too

I would stop watching if they gave the Clauditorium to Neil Jones

I don't think he would be able to hold it together for the duration of the show, but it was a thought

Suggs is probably making too much out of his businesses to devote so much time to live TV. Plus I don’t follow his streams but I thought they were mainly the edited type of pranks so I’m not sure how much live interaction stuff he has done.

I actually quite like the idea of cross fertilising in this way, just not sure its Suggs. One of the women streamers who does a live show would be interesting (I really like the set up of two women). Plus historically women presenters have caused the Beeb less problems than the men. I don’t imagine its an accident that the two new Masterchef presenters are female and Strictly is a much bigger show.

I wasn't particularly saying Joe Sugg should get the gig (just that in my very limited knowledge of you Tubers) that he is the one with the glaring Strictly connections - previous went a long way contestant, current pro as a partner (as in life partner rather than the person he danced with is still a pro), did some of the Strictly social media stuff for a while.

Really hope it isn’t Alison Hammond or Rylan, Zoe Ball & Oti Mabuse both have dance & presenting experience or blast from the past Karen Hardy.

Yes… I hadn’t even thought of that. Bit dim of me considering he’s a former contestant in a long term relationship with a pro - and does a spin off show or podcast or something about Strictly.

I think we are overthinking the value of previous Strictly experience compared to the value of live presenting experience. If it had to be someone with “previous” on Strictly I’d go for Zoe Ball due to her range of presenting experience.

One thing I am sure of - it won’t be someone without a decent track record in live presenting, its just too big a gig. That excludes most previous celebs and pros as they don’t have that type of experience, even if their celebdom is TV based.

I wouldn’t mind Neil taking over the clauditorium. He’s likeable enough even if he’s much maligned on here.
Or maybe Neil will replace Anton as a judge so Anton can present…? Imagine that. He’d morph into Bruce before our very eyes.

@dontcallmelen Karen Hardy would be a great judge but I can’t see her captaining the show, it’s not her field of expertise

Zoe Ball would be great to replace Claudia.
