I do agree he is wielding his weight as a weapon of control to garner sympathy and to hide behind. (Not as if that justifies anyone else being unkind about his weight of course) But I do feel aside from being very manipulative which is unfair to others, he is also not doing himself any favours in the long term. You can’t guilt a woman into liking you!

He keeps suggesting he usually does this great charm offensive which gets women to fall for him, hence he believes he will win Sarah round 🤦🏽‍♀️ But in the same breath has implied he usually likes woman a lot more than they like him - and ultimately they don’t really accept him or see him as special.

Gawd I really hope so. As a viewer you’d at least want to warm to one or both, but these two are awful.

I think JR is purely in it for the fame. She doesn’t seem ready to settle down, she seems immature with her friends, nowhere near marriage in her attitude which I think is why she’s struggled so much with Divarni who seems very serious. I think she’ll want to stay in for the fame though.

Please let Dean and Sarah leave next. Sarah will need therapy after putting up with creepy, predatory Dean and being gaslig by the experts.

He has created a jolly personality around his weight. Tbf most people are defensive and defiant around weight gain. You read all the time, people were unhappy when they lost weight, or looked haggard, they enjoy being fat, partners shouldn't mention it.
My friend who had weight-loss surgery said she was tired of masking her weight by acting extra jolly.
Contestants should have at least 6 weeks of therapy before joining the show.

I can't imagine that will go well. From the clip Steven actually admits swearing at her but he's so bloody emotionally unstable I think they'll just quietly give her looks and a rope ladder to leave. I hope the show has some burly men in the wings in case he kicks off again. I can't imagine him not being volatile if challenged, with his ego.
