Does anyone remember Luke from a few seasons back? He was coupled with Morag who didn’t find him attractive initially. She did start to like him a bit and they had sex but they still had their issues.

He then ended up getting so much positive attention on social media especially from women. According to Morag he became a bit cocky and stopped trying with her - and according to him he just found his worth.

I imagine Dean hopes that will be his journey! I’m sure he’d happily dump Sarah after he got her hooked (which won’t happen) if he had a a lot of other options.

She really is too terrified to say anything. You could see her friend look at the camera man and clock that she couldn't be honest about how she was feeling at all or it would be fed back. Completely trapped and horrible to watch, a version of mental torture.

I think it's more his mate is chosing not to see his comments as creepy because it's "loveable Dean" with apparent charisma (!). Dean is very good at mimicing what people say and do - see wavy hands with Sarah and nodding all the time and repeating what others say. He is a chameleon, as the best manipulators are. Men don't see this as threatening because they don't understand abuse.

I've no doubt he will find someone after this and probably sell his story of how sad Sarah made him and milk Sad Dean for years. The producers are enabling it because it's an easy sell "poor fat guy rejected by strong woman", only she isn't and is actively grieving her dead mum, where Dean just made himself fat to look like less of a dick.

I don’t think she’s going to get a redemption arc because the ixperts have been such dicks to her that surely they can’t then portray her as anything but the bad guy. I feel so sorry for her.

And this coming straight after Sarah’s friend saying ‘I think things will fall naturally into place if they’re going to’. Dean then appears to be agreeing with her ‘yes that’s what I say…’ but in fact then says the opposite. I wish she’d picked him up on it.

I’m hoping Sarah’s friend got a chance to talk with her off camera. We saw Dean’s friend telling the camera he’s worried for Dean, but there was no direct to camera from Sarah’s friend shown.

I'm actually glad because it would be weaponised against her. Poor woman is going to have enough trouble after this I suspect.

Watching the newest hot dog couple (completely forgotten their names overnight 🫠), it felt like a totally different TV show. It felt calm, natural and full of positivity. It really felt like they were genuine and not there for the 5 minutes of fame. I want to keep them separate from the vacuous dinner parties as I just can’t see them fitting in amongst the chaos.

Leisha's botox looks awful. Why do these young women do this to themselves?! Reiss looks like Jimmy Carr. He totally fancies himself, but he is not all that IMO.

the bit with Sarah and her friend, Sarah is saying it as clear as day,

I completely agree - the friend even looks shiftily at the camera with the realisation that their chat has to be very bland. It's so wrong and very coercive.
I really hope Ofcom do look into the ethics of these shows and stop them. It's chilling viewing and hard to believe it's allowed in 2025.

I wish we could have a show with actual behavioural scientists and psychologists properly matching people and helping them, rather than drama pairings and abusive bullying.

Agree, April and Leo are a great match, I hope it lasts.

So, so sorry for Sarah. Really hope she is getting some support now and this situation is not allowed to reoccur.
