The BBC has released the transmission date for Nine Bodies In A Mexican Morgue – the six-episode series from the mind of Anthony Horowitz.

Starts next Saturday

In the six-part series, a plane carrying a small group of passengers, crew and pilot, crashes in the Mexican jungle.

All the bodies are recovered and placed in a morgue… but it turns out that only one of them died in the crash.

The other passengers were murdered afterwards, each one in a unique way.

But by whom?

And why? As the story unfolds in flashback, we meet the survivors as they fight against the heat, a shortage of supplies, the many dangers of the jungle… and each other.

The setting becomes increasingly tense and claustrophobic as, one by one, they are dispatched with a series of shocks that bring us ever closer to the truth and – at the very end – a jaw-dropping reveal.

The ensemble cast includes Eric McCormack (Will & Grace, Perception), David Ajala (Star Trek: Discovery) as Zack; Lydia Wilson (The Swarm) as Sonja; Peter Gadiot (Yellowjackets) as Carlos; Siobhán McSweeney (Derry Girls) as Lisa; Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Tourist) as Travis; Adam Long (Happy Valley) as Dan, and Jan Le (The Capture) as Amy. Filming recently started in the Canary Islands.

I said I think the killer is Sonja the photographer or Zack the insurance man

Out again tonight which is why I binged watched it. Enjoy - it's a great episode. Can't wait to re watch.

So Lisa, who I was suspicious of, and Zack are both innocent and either dead or about to be.

If Kevin really is a doctor he has broken his Hippocratic oath and deserves to be defrocked or whatever the word is for doctors.

I didn’t think it was lisa as why would she kill her beloved hubby

so we know Zack is now a married dea

i thought it was him but seems not

and if it was Sonja why would she trek 6hours there and back for the signal

so goes back to the chauffeur husband dan as don’t think it’s the doctor

who went up the mountain originally - as must have been one of them who pulled it out before they left

reminds me of I know what you did last summer

I’m guessing they still haven’t looked at the bodies in the morgue or would be able to match the bodies and passport's

apart from the one with no face

Or is it Kevin as he went up the mountain originally end playing that he’s a sweet guy and he Yanked the lead out

its keeping me guessing which means it’s a good programme

Tho there is watch on the left hand of who is holding the knife and Sonja has a watch

so maybe it is her at the end of e4

There could be someone lurking in the forest, but it feels a bit unlikely.

Are all the dead bodies definitely dead (thinking of that Agatha Christie where they all get killed)?

It must be either Sonia or Kevin who pulled the plug on the signal first time, bc I don't think anyone could have followed them up there.

True. I had written him off as he operated on the pilot and seemed upset he died

The torture scene was horrific. Didn't expect that from an Anthony Horowitz drama.

At the end of recap 4 there's a comment which says who the killer is. Not sure if it's true or written as a wind up 😏😠
