For when the first thread is full. I may be watching but won't be posting because I won't have access to a computer and I need the speed of a keyboard to get my opinion out there before I forget what it is.

Hello, checking in. I had a name change, but I was on the last thread.

BestIsWest · 02/09/2025 08:39

Also checking in. Thanks.

LittleBitofBread · 02/09/2025 09:06

Thank you!
I'm team Órla for the win. She's original and also skilful.

CaptainMyCaptain · 02/09/2025 12:45

Be aware that Bake Off starts tonight and doesn't finish until 9.30. I'll be watching Bake Off on catch up.

Hatty65 · 02/09/2025 17:42

Many thanks, I'm enjoying this series much more than the last one.

PickAChew · 02/09/2025 19:37

Making sure I don't lose you.

I like Órla too. She seems such a lovely girl. Not that I don’t like the others. I’d be happy if Kit won too.

Those underarm gussets look tricky

2Rebecca · 02/09/2025 21:07

I like this jacket. Classy

WonderfulSmith · 02/09/2025 21:07

This looks really tricky.

SwedishEdith · 02/09/2025 21:13

I really love this jacket. I love those 1960s neat tweed women's suits. Can you download the patterns and instructions from the BBC? Like I would have a clue where to start but...

WonderfulSmith · 02/09/2025 21:15

I love that Kit is helping everyone else.

There's a website called the Foldline that suggests patterns.

Me too! He is growing on me.

BoilingHotand50something · 02/09/2025 21:17

Sorry to gatecrash by the way! Usually watch with my daughter but she’s gone out!

WonderfulSmith · 02/09/2025 21:21

Kit did brilliantly, of course. He strikes me as someone who is very meticulously and will read the instructions thoroughly.

HeadNorth · 02/09/2025 21:23

That jacket seemed so tricky. Kit is amazing at understanding patterns and a sweetheart for helping the others.

PickAChew · 02/09/2025 21:23

Kit is good at thinking in 3D. Useful with that sort of bagging out!

Lovely jacket but I would need a couple of weeks. Those gussets would need an afternoon to themselves with a stiff cup of tea to ease the process.

PrincessofWells · 02/09/2025 21:26

Orla might be in trouble in the curtain challenge!

HeadNorth · 02/09/2025 21:27

I would love to own a jacket like that - so neat and chic

WhereAreMyAirpods · 02/09/2025 21:39

Why does Gaynor think she is special and doesn't have to adhere to the brief? She needs to go.
