No spoilers but this documentary is out there as one of the most disturbing I have seen in a long time, the manipulation, the death threats, the abhorrent sexual messages. Has anyone else seen this? Worth a watch I think.

The messages Kendra sent were horrific, some were so explicit I'm surprised that she wasn't charged with a anything of a sexual nature.

Lauryn I think shut down when she was told but I don't think that the sheriff should have told her with her mum next to her, he could have taken her somewhere and told her in a more direct way.

I'm not surprised that the husband wanted Kendra to go straight away, he knew that every message Lauryn had received, including the sexually explicit ones were sent by her, I would have to have been held back if that was me.

Kendra should have got longer in prison, her trying to justify what she'd done made me want to switch off.

Quite honestly, when I was watching it, and before I knew who did it, I thought it had to be an adult.

13 year olds i don't think are capable of that level of vulgarity and sexually explicit texts.

You’d have thought the police/FBI might have twigged? I can’t understand how they were allowed to keep phones & be subjected to daily barrage of abuse for a year plus? The fact they were was a lead in itself surely.

Jeez, just finished watching this - what a head 🤯🤯

I was thinking from the start it had to be someone from school, it couldn’t possibly be anyone on camera…

That woman is seriously psychopathic. To minimise what she did by saying we’ve all made mistakes?!

Her daughters reaction I thought was very odd at first, but reading some of the PP I agree she’s probably been controlled her whole life and she disassociated when the sheriff was (not very clearly AT ALL) trying to tell her. All handled very very badly by him - why leave it so long to get cyber crime investigations involved? Telling the daughter with her mum there? Leading the mum down the path of ‘were there difficulties in the household? Is that why it happened?’ (I’m paraphrasing ). W. T. A. F.

And the documentary maker asking her if she was perhaps sending these messages to herself?!

Definitely an unhealthy interest in the boyfriend (at such a young age….). Definitely takes no responsibility. Lauryn will need lots of therapy to
try and get through this and have any kind of normal life.

The husband I think was in deep
shock. He probably thought something was off (financially/jobwise) but never in a million years would he have thought she’d send these messages.

I’m thinking she would have caused physical harm to her daughter if she’d carried on. Out of control narcissist.

Only just seen this and it’s bizarre…is it even real?! Why is Kendra even on the film trying to justify her behaviour? It’s strange.
And how did her husband not realise she no longer had a job…didn’t he wonder where the money was?
did she just do it for attention?
she must have started the whole thing regardless of what she says in the documentary
