Or am I the only saddo.

OP posts:
DirtySexyMummy · 31/05/2008 22:53

I believe he actually did go through the same process as everyone else.

And I also think he is fabulously talented, that is dancing like no one has ever seen or done before. And he taught this to himself. He deserved to win.

CrazyMofo · 31/05/2008 22:53

well Warrington is in Cheshire, i am also in Cheshire. Thats what i meant. Still comes from the shitty parts tho!

falcon · 31/05/2008 22:58

I do agree that he is talented but he certainly isn't original, I could easy find multiple clips of better, similarly aged, breakdancers on youtube.

I think Signature deserved to win they were more entertaining, more original(the combination of the two types of dancing and more talented.

JMHO.

falcon · 31/05/2008 22:58

That's easily find, sorry.

DirtySexyMummy · 31/05/2008 22:59

Seriously falcon, I doubt you could.

I actually didn't really like signature, they were alright, the thinner guy was really, really good but the other one wasn't particularly good at all.

falcon · 31/05/2008 23:01

I don't suppose I'm allowed to post examples?

DirtySexyMummy · 31/05/2008 23:04

Yes, you are

bluenosesaint · 31/05/2008 23:04

Oh i disagree DSM - they literally made me laugh out loud!

I particularly loved the bigger guy and really think that they both can move

wannaBe · 31/05/2008 23:04

don't see why not.

wannaBe · 31/05/2008 23:08

at the end of the day it all comes down to personal opinion.

My personal opinion is that it's fixed. not necessarily for that act to have won but for a certain type of act to win. And imo it was always going to be one of the youth dancer types, either george or one of the other youth dance groups, because of the amount of bad publicity young people are getting at the moment, and the amount of work the prince's trust does with the youth, it only seemed appropriate that the youth get a bit of positive publicity.

CrazyMofo · 31/05/2008 23:10

well in that case why did Paul Ptts win last year then??

DirtySexyMummy · 31/05/2008 23:10

Hmm.. I see what you mean, but whether or not it is fixed, surely comes down to fact rather than opinion?

I mean, it either is or it isn't. Whether or not you or I think it is or isn't is totally irrelevant.

falcon · 31/05/2008 23:12

Much younger than George but incredible.

Another young kid(skip to 2:40)

These kids are pretty good.

And these are great

471RKROQ&feature=related

And these are awesome, particuarly the last boy.

DirtySexyMummy · 31/05/2008 23:17

Okay. None of them, IMO, were better than george, some were not as good, however some were just as good.

All, but the last guy on the last link. In the orange and white. That, was incredible.

Izzybel · 31/05/2008 23:22

Aww, I'm really glad George won. Thought he was ace! Signature were great, but I don't think they were that original as they were mostly imitating Michael Jackson.

imaginaryfriend · 31/05/2008 23:27

I really didn't like signature. I was surprised they came second.

purpleflower · 01/06/2008 01:21

George is a very good dancer but he didn't make that dance up. They should research these things a little better.

DirtySexyMummy · 01/06/2008 02:56

Purpleflower - he does his own choreography.

purpleflower · 01/06/2008 03:05

Thats very funny DSM because I know there is a DVD of somebody dancing that dance at a competition they where in together last year.

jalopy · 01/06/2008 09:34

Very predictable end.

In a week's time, the tabloid press will have printed dubious information about each and every member of his family and in two weeks time we will be saying "George who?"

wuzzlefraggle · 01/06/2008 09:35

I'm happy for George that he won...the act he did was brilliant. But I must admit, I was hoping that Signature would have won.

Still pleased that George got it tho

Felt so sorry for the boy that came 3rd...he got so upset!

PuppyMonkey · 01/06/2008 12:49

I only watched the final and the only one who on first glance had any talent was that 12-year-old girl with the amazingly deep voice. The rest were all very average..

UnquietDad · 01/06/2008 13:35

I can't believe this crap got 12m viewers and Doctor Who got an all-time low of 5.4.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 01/06/2008 13:41

Ah - I taped Dr Who. It was good.
