Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I don't think you applied for all the main shows, because the rejection emails come once a week for those, plus they've only just put the page up with the main shows. Perhaps you applied for the group dance recordings session?

I’ve filled the form in having no idea how I would get to Borehamwood for 3pm!

Many years ago pre internet I was phoning to book tickets for something and every time I called the number I got the engaged tone. So I hung up and dialed again. This had gone on for about two hours when I actually got a ring tone but I was in such a repeat pattern that I hung up before my brain registered it was actually ringing!

Fortunately I did get through and snag my tickets in the end.

I just applied for my yearly ticket dissapoinment.😀

I think I'd do exactly the same! Hopefully the "you've got tickets!" Email has a different subject heading?

If you get tickets you get texted as well so be on your toes!

I just saw Kristian Nairn has withdrawn due to.medical reasons. Did someone say he had spine/back issues ?

I just saw that Kristian has withdrawn. That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing him.

I wonder if it will take a break after this year .

Forgot to post this at the time ...but...

I chat to ds about who is in the lineup for SCD ..he doesn't watch ..but , you know...it's conversation in the kitchen and he usually does know the youngsters /tictok/you tubers and the likes.

We find a bonding over the kettle boiling 🤣🤣!

Anyhow...I mentioned that some big fella from GOT was going to be on , but I had forgotten his name .

He straight away said Hodor !
I liked him , !

And then went on to tell me the story of why he is called Hodor .

Now , our mother and son bonding moments waiting for the kettle to boil have gone 😔😔😅!

Ohh and as soon as I said
" Some you tuber called George... something..can't remember.."

He said oh ...him with the mullet !

Yes, Kristian had pelvic tilt.
Such a shame.
Wonder whether he still gets any salary, if had started training but had to pull out.
Maybe he can do a Jamie Laing and try again next year.
You'd have thought there was a back-up.

That is a shame, one of the few I had actually heard of. Wonder if he will be replaced or if they will just carry on with 14 celebs

Announcing his replacement tonight apparently. He said he had stress/grief manifesting physically, so may not have just been the back issue. Reading it now.

What a shame, I mean it is loss of income as well.

Oh no that's really disappointing.

He is withdrawing as he has to take off next couple of weeks to get back to normal and won't therefore be able to train in time.
Fair dos - he didn't want to mess production about and says they have been supportive
It is a shame as I thought he may be the dark horse of the competition.

Well we got Kelvin last time so it may be a lesser name/similar "type" (Toff?) that ends up doing well. Will be interesting if they have male and female back ups and if they are having to rejig pairings as we speak. I had Kristian with Kai, Johannes or Nadiya, based on height alone.

That's one of the two people I have heard of gone!

Have they all been paired already and are in training ?
