Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I’ve heard Dani Dyer, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Cain and Tom Parker Bowles

The real question is: who they gonna bench?!
I wouldn't mind Karen/Nancy/Nadiya taking a break. It's an interesting one because the pros do not appear to be leaving themselves, to move onto different things.
Do you reward loyalty or do you look at the number of followers/the votes they get each week that we're not privy to

I would be happy to bench Nadiya/ Luba/ Dianne among the women.

I really want Karen to get someone decent….but it might be that she’s not a great teacher…

Yes Dianne has had a few good years it might be fair to bench her, but she is seen as popular with the public

Maybe that's why we may end up with Dani and Vicky this year (both reality) as women weren't represented as much last year.
There was talk of a drag queen this year but if there is, it ain't Tayce (who threw shade for being too much for them, presumably a bit prickly as Nitro chosen over him).

Me too. I like her dedication to adopting not buying dogs, and just how hard she works on her dancing and her physical fitness.

So, if you have 19 pros (not counting Gorks as the 20th as he's only troupe this year) then 4 are sitting out. You might include the two new ones in that but that would still mean two regulars aren't getting a partner. And I do think they need new blood fwiw. I also think they have to be careful because people will be looking at those benched to spot the two in rehab so you'd be best giving the public two newbies to look at and benching four regulars, so noone comes under scrutiny.

He is a "cook" isn't he I've definitely seen him on tv Cooking, he is definitely going on for that and not being the Queens son 😉

Besides the obvious connections he’s a columnist in the Mail. A restaurant critic I think. Google calls him a “food writer” The aim will be to hope his mother shows up. I doubt his stepfather will but stranger things have happened.
