Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I’ve heard Dani Dyer, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Cain and Tom Parker Bowles

I really liked him on the Christmas show so I'm happy he's getting a chance at the main show. He seems like a grafter which I like

I like this signing. Harry came across really well on Celebrity MasterChef, was enthusiastic about the idea of doing Strictly and was really good value on the Christmas Special. Also, he's not one of those sportspeople who is totally out of their comfort zone when asked to do something a bit more creative and expressive.

Some female pro is about to be flung in the air, a lot.

Indeed. To bring up the much-loved and much-missed Monkseal again, Pissy Gorka is quite something to behold.

I'm clearly in the minority, but I like the Christmas show!
Harry A-A was very good on it; charismatic, likable and a pretty good dancer. I think he'll be partnered with Jowita and she'll make him do some of her jaw-dropping lifts and throws like she did with Hamza.

A Tenko-Strictly crossover would be my televisual heaven. Big Beatrice and Blanche were my favourites.

I don't really remember Tenko; it was one of those things my parents watched that went slightly over my head. I'd quite like to watch it again now though.

A bit late but i'm another one who avoids the christmas episode

Something about a show thats usually live being pre recorded makes it rubbish for me

Same with This Morning on Christmas day, terrible

bread tis part of my Xmas day. Still love it even though they have never done a routine to Kirsty MacColl, Greg Lake or George (wrap her up as opposed to last Xmas).

Noticed Ian Waite was touting for an All Stars series. In fairness, the guy's still got it (he was on DWTS Aus, as was Natalie). I do wonder why they've never done it.

Jamie's suspension is done and he returns to EE. Wynne wrote a hypocritical glad for you mate, if he's been the one leaking. It is weird though that one brings Beeb into disrepute and has no renewal on his contract, whereas the other gets the slap on the wrist but kept on, albeit he kept his mouth shut throughout his suspension.

Looking forward to more names this evening being released. Hopefully, the gorgeous Alex will be one of them Xx

I don’t think an All Star series would work especially if the audience don’t get to choose who those stars are

Possibly not.
Guess it depends who'd be prepared to put their dancing shoes back on and who's already burnt bridges.
They are all older now, with possibly more to lose and many of the popular ones will have moved on or their partner has.

I think an All stars would be ok.for maybe a children in need or something so over a week or so, but not a full series.

It’s currently on UDrama. I love Tenko. Unfortunately though the reunion isn’t always shown.

Tenko was incredible. Loved it.

I don’t watch the Christmas SCD because I like the weekly evolution of the contestants. And by then, I’m done with it tbh.

I am pleased about Harry. I don’t watch the current Gladiators, but as an athletics fan I recognise him from back in the day (specifically the relays, which I love). Feels like a good, solid celeb.
