Not gonna lie. I am a bit surprised Harrison left - to be with Lauren. I would have put money on him not going! I wonder if he genuinely likes her, or if it's hitting home what a bellend he is coming across as? (Or as a poster said on the previous thread, has he been persuaded to leave by the producers, because of the backlash about his behaviour?!)

I totally think Harrison’s only ‘redemption’ is through a relationship with Lauren that lasts a respectable but relatively short time, then it’s all down to young love.

He was ‘encouraged’ to leave I think.

Was I the only one crying over tonight’s episode. I think Tony really fell hard for Harrison and he made the wrong choice to leave with Lauren. Just my view. Tony had so much more personality and morals than Lauren.

Toni is definitely a marmite character. I like her but sadly, she picked the wrong guy and fell for him. I think she’s really embarrassed about how it’s all turned out. I’m sure she’ll find the right guy on the outside.

I agree with PP that this series has been better and less formulaic. I’ve found Shakira, Toni and Yasmin a breath of fresh air. Their friendship has been heartwarming.

Toni has had me screaming at the TV but in the end I think she genuinely liked Harrison and he messed her about so much. He really manipulated her and got in her head. I don’t think that she's a bad person, just quite a vulnerable one.

There have been some truly disgusting contestants this hear too and as I’ve already said Dejon, Harry and Harrison are some of the worst I’ve seen. Harry is the worst IMO always egging the others on, telling Connor he could get Shakira back. He’s just disgusting.

Harrison was definitely made to leave after the Women’s Aid statement. It was the right thing.

Loathe Helena and Meg too. Helena just seeing being cruel as a sport . I just can’t get past that.

It’s 100% producer led damage limitation for Harrison. Everything he said in that final scene with Toni was the right lines given to sound contrite and minimise fallout for him outside. No wonder he was crying from the wake up call of reality. It’s got naff all to do with Lauren. She’s a 26yo woman he barely knows and only intermittently fancied and he’s a 22yo boychild who’ll head back to the US in no time. It’s the right thing to do strategically but I’m not buying any romance BS for a second.

Best bit of tonight was Shakira nailing it about the boys being rotten and why of course she’d rather be home than made to feel that way. She put it so well through the tears and manages to keep some dignity. I loved how she went from the upset to welcoming Yassypoos or whatever she called Yasmin. Those girls - Shakira, Toni and Yasmin - should go sleep in the Hideaway just for some sanity!

Just caught up on the old thread too and gotta say - no way is Angel natural. Her boobs ain’t and her face has that puffy injected look. As for the chat, Harry was really scraping the barrel asking stuff like - do you like to go out and meet boys? Unless she reveals some more interesting side, i’m not sure she’ll go far.

i did love the Cach and Toni convo though. Felt genuine and kind. What a gent he is. She’ll be better with Harrison out of there too. Not that they should couple up again, just nice that that particular toxic cloud has passed. Shakira is right though about the guys trying to bring down anyone who might look like winning. Would love it if Yas and Jamie went under the radar and won just to show that it doesn’t pay to be a gameplaying arsehole.

Although it was sad, I think Shakira's breakdown was my highlight of the episode. Such a raw, honest speech. I really love that girl and she is way too good for flaky boy-follower Con.

if Harrison really liked Lauren he would've left straight away. Don't understand why Lauren begged him to leave. You shouldn't have to ask, he should've wanted to leave with her. I don't understand why she's so desperate for him. He'll dump her in no time.

I just love Shakira. The way she doesn’t entertain any bullshit (for herself and her friends) and is so emotionally articulate and in touch with her feelings. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air. She is fiercely loyal to the people she cares about. But above all I admire her ability to see situations with complete clarity, have the courage in her convictions not get drawn in to the drama. She is a great role model to the young women out there on how to conduct yourself in a relationship and in friendships.

I don't think he would have left of his own accord. I think he was probably given 24 hours to leave. I don't think he could have stayed given the way his behaviour has affected Toni
