I also doubt he reflected on it, just was told to apologise and make himself sound contrite, so he filched from what Cach said because he doesn't have any contrite thoughts. Tbh I dislike it anyway when men can only give a toss about what happens to women by imagining that they're their sister/mother/daughter, as if we aren't worthy of empathy if we aren't some biological extension of them. But at least Cach has some humanity about him.

Yeah maybe, it just seems weird he was actively distancing from her in the villa and wasn't making any effort with her and then all of a sudden wants to leave with her of her own accord. That said we dont see everything, it was strange from what we have seen for her to be all over him again and begging him to stay. All a bit weird- probably for the best they've both gone though, it'll be interesting to see how the dynamics change now, Toni will want to secure her future in the villa so be interesting to see who she goes for!

I thought Harrison always looked far more affectionate with Lauren and she was more his type, but he was a little in awe of Toni and her assertive nature (mixed with a bit of possessiveness over not wanting anyone else to have her). Its crazy to think Lauren is actually older than Toni.

The reason PP were talking about Angels looks. Was because some were disagreeing that she was natural.

Shes obviously had a boob job and lip filler, she looks pretty much the same as her old photos beyond that, id say her work enhances the way she looked rather than the over the top filler and surgery some people get in an attempt to completely overhaul their appearance. I think she looks great, as do all of the women in fairness. They definitely all have had less work done than the previous few series where its been very obvious and generic instagram procedures.

It’s very team Meg or team Shakira on the socials. Normally the girls at least pretend to get on with each other. Another reason it’s an unusual year

I think Connor hadnt (until Shakira) found anyone he really liked since meghan was dumped. Rather than leading girls on, he's finished pairins quite quickly as soon as he found there wasn't a spark there.

Yes, there have been a few times he’s not liked when women speak up (or get loud is how he described it I think). Not sure if that’s the driver to him moving on but I think he likes women to be quiet (demure if you want to be softer).

Love Island has literally gone to the dark side with this lot. I can’t even make it through a First Look it’s so dire.

The US version has apparently really suffered this year from budget cuts, making the series shorter with no movie night. I’m wondering if the same new owner controls the UK version!!

@catbathat every girl he has coupled up with him apart from Megan. He doesn't like them getting into arguments, getting annoyed, raising their voice. You need to go back and re watch. It's as if he's embarrassed when they speak up or thinks they should be put in a corner. No idea how people find him attractive.

Two examples come to mind - body shaming comment against Helena when she was wearing her bikini - might counter this with why was she wearing her bikini, but the way to confront it would be to simply tell Helena not to wear it, not to body shame her. Afterall people keep saying Shakira is ‘real’ and says it how it is, so just tell her you’d rather her not wear the bikini, not make awful comments about her appearance behind her back. And when she and Toni were bullying and being pretty awful to Emily (Ofcom received a number of complaints about this), where Shakira was mocking and mimicking Emily. And her continuous smirking when other Islanders are upset. Not saying others are angels, but Shakira has a pretty unpleasant side to her I’m afraid. I think Toni and Shakira just bring out the worst in each other. It’s just my opinion btw, and I appreciate other people will have their own opinions.

He’s definitely been persuaded by producers, although given the nasty gang of 4 have done everything to break him & Toni up and get him to choose Lauren, it may well have been his own choice (as the gang did with Harry & Shakira).

Helena and Meg are nasty bitches (& I never use that word!) & Harry & Dejon have their eyes on the prize so it’s in their interests to split any other couples that have any sort of a chance (as they also tried to do by mixing between Connor & Shakira!)
