None of the bikinis belong to any of the girls. Apparently there’s a wardrobe of clothes and pool attire which each girl helps themself to. Maybe some costumes are favourites for a particular girl, but it doesn’t belong to them. I remember reading about it ages ago and thinking urghhh, it’s like sharing someone’s underwear……

This isn't true. They absolutely take some of their own clothes in but there's also stuff they can use already there. They're just not allowed branded things.

@Livelovebehappy I just watched the clip. She whispers to Toni "that bikini don't fit her that's why the strap's down" in a pretty non-descript tone with a neutral expression on her face. There's nothing to it.

Shakira said herself at movie night it was nasty because she meant for it to be. I suspect most people have said something nasty to their mates when someone has been nasty to them and they have then taken liberties. I might be a horrible person but I dont think it was that bad given the circumstances.

But on movie night Shakira did admit to intending the comment to be unpleasant. And whilst you think her comment appeared to be just a statement with no malice, I interpreted it differently when I saw it, especially if you see the whole context before and after.

I watched an Aftersun episode and I’m sure one the contestants who had left said they shared all the clothes. But I guess it may be true that they’re allowed to take their own in too. Who knows if the swimming costume in this particular scenario was one of Shakira own or a shared one. I would imagine though, that unless it was something agreed between Shakira and Helena, that Helena wouldn’t have just put it on.

True - it's basically wearing someone's knickers. But then I wouldn't wanna be sitting around all day where their practically bare arses had been sitting either.

She specifically said - on 2 separate occasions - that she was putting on Shakira’s bikini. The second time it was with a snigger between her and Meg. We haven’t assumed that she was wearing a bikini belonging to Shakira she said it - nastily - in terms, both times.

But the point I'm also making is that Shakira had obviously given her permission to share it because Helena wouldn't have put it on otherwise nor would Shakira not have said something to her, ie 'can you take off that bikini. Its mine' Both parties were mean in what they said that night. No-one came out of it covered in glory. The only girl in there who is honest and without nastiness is Yasmin.

I'm not sure Shakira "obviously gave her permission". Helena has a bit of form for taking stuff of hers. I'm not sure Shakira is the type to demand she take it off either... more just rolled her eyes and probably wasn't particularly fussed at the time as she knew she looked better in it anyway. She was obviously pissed off when she realised Helena was wearing her bikini to try and pull her man though. I think we'd all get a bit catty about that.
