Difficult comparison - Queen were professional stadium bands with 15 years experience, Madonna was a fresh faced pop artist, with less than 3 years under her belt.

I didn’t see Madonna on the day because I had farming to attend to. She sounds terrible.

I remember watching Madonna on the day.. she mentions something like “I’m not taking shit off today..it’ll haunt me 10 years from now!” Bc this was when topless pics were posted from when she was trying to break into the business.. I thought she was the absolute coolest person ever when I was 11 🤭😊

Yep! My sister & I were there. I’d never been in a crowd that size. There was a woman thete with her 2 sons who kind of adopted us in the day. I don’t think she could believe we were there alone 😆

I like Madonna and it’s sad what she has done to herself. It’s as though she is trying to recreate herself in her 60’s and no one is really that interested

I seem to remember that we found out that the crowd screamed and shouted when Mel & Griff introduced Queen was actually because Phil Collins Concorde flew over the stadium @HurdyGurdy19 and so he's not in Philadelphia yet!

And there was a terrible sound quality interview with Collins mid flight.
