We've seen the publicity photos where they are all dressed in black and it looks like a funeral. It's not Harry because he's in the photos. No sign of Herbert though 😞 hope its not him or dishy Duncan from downstairs

I don't think anyone has mentioned this, but why doesn't Miranda kiss properly?! She just kind of opens her mouth and waits. And then says that Joy was a great kisser and I thought, bet she doesn't think the same about you. Its distracting because she supposedly really fancies this woman.

The actor died, but only a couple of weeks ago.

I saw the funeral-looking photos too. Didn't want to say so in case it was a spoiler, but @Lottapianos , I'm so glad you saw Harry in them and he's alive! The photos I saw were of a smiling Carrie and Aiden (in too-short trousers), and a sad- looking Lisa, all dressed in black.

I've just watched SATC 1st film which I really enjoyed again .
One of those wedding dresses Carrie was modelling for Vouge was found in a thrift shop in America. It was brought for ^$19.
The Vivien Westwood one ( not found in a thrift shop), was $20.000 give a Thousand or two. It was lovely though. I really never got what Carrie saw in Big especially after I've been binge watching The Good Wife, he is so boring.

@Nettleteaser101 , I agree about the heels. I love swooning over them. The yellow pair she wore when Duncan knocked on the back door were 😍. I gave up heels years ago and live in trainers, but I love the fun and the fluff in SATC and AJLT

Ditto the opening scene of the series where she was heading off to the post box in full couture 😁 if I wanted to see a middle aged woman in tracky bums and a hoodie, I can just look in the mirror!

And I couldn't agree more about Big. He was AWFUL, emotionally stunted, unavailable, played her like a fiddle, and didn't have much to offer except good looks (sort of) and money. Although her running around after him for years was probably one of the more relatable storylines in SATC, at least for some of us!

I suspect you'd have to prize Carrie's heels out of her cold, dead hands! I'm glad they have not made her a trainers/flats woman. She was never particularly relatable/trendy in her fashion choices, more like aspirational and eccentric mixed in with haute couture and vintage. I think she's definitely going down the Iris Apfel route in AJLT. I'm really enjoying her clothes this series, they are all fabulous, modern day fairytale princess fashion.

Yeah I know but dressing for the occasion is part of style I think, especially as you get older and wiser. When Carrie went to Aiden’s hut in SATC and she had heels whatever on, it was ridiculous! This woman was in her 30s fgs!

I hope not! I like him because he's George Washington and a decent man, if a bit dull. And they have kids, so I don't want anyone's parent to die. I don't think Lisa is the cheating kind.

They did have the funeral of the, "I'm so bored I could die" defenestration lady in SATC and someone else's funeral in the first series I think (Charlotte met one of her doomed romances in the cemetery). Could they all be going to one of those "NY celebrity" funerals of someone they are all loosely connected to?
