And Tay and Sadie if today's episode was anything to go by!

End of last week an ep ended with a shot of the paintings of Mrs Mangle and Amanda the on to Jane procrastinating but with no context.

So Sadie’s 21st is coming up, Andrew mentioned it today.
When she arrived in 2022 she was 15. Three calendar years have passed, but we were told that two years passed in the one year off air, so she should be 19 now, turning 20. Only a mild dose of rapid aging syndrome for her.

Unlike the serious case of rapid aging syndrome suffered by Holly, who was born in 2007 and should be celebrating her 18th birthday this year!

Or poor Nell with a critical dose of rapid aging syndrome, who was born in 2013 and should only be 12!

I think the Jane scene was just a meaningful moment for a long-standing character. A bit like how Madge-Agnes knocked on Harold’s door with no other storyline context.

I’m going to guess Krista faked that pregnancy test to say negative because she already knows it’s positive. And what are the chances that the baby is Seb’s? We predicted this storyline weeks ago.

The Jane scene was the last scene of the ep so it was just weird.

It is so sad, I’ve watched it all, from the beginning 40 years ago. Such a part of my life! I will miss it.
Sadly I don’t think there is hope of saving it this time. Bringing it back once was do-able, but it’s hard to revive a programme twice.

Also, how freakin weird was the scene of a half naked Byron and Max telling Saskia she was being inappropriate?! Talk about mixed messages!

Also and I know this is way too much to ask from the Neighbourverse but can Leo and Krista PLEASE get their shit together and actually start talking to each other like normal people?!

How did Cara become a cop so quickly! Surely you’d need intensive training that lasts longer than 5 minutes!

Time is magic in Erinsborough. Cara qualified as a police officer within a few weeks. Therese went on holiday to Rome for two days. Karl went to rehab for an afternoon.

I think we felt it was fast when Yashvi qualified but this was even quicker! She only decided she wanted to be a cop a few months ago.

All the story lines feel so rushed

why didn’t they call Sadie to hurry up.

I think they have no choice but to rush them through. There would have been active long term storylines already planned and in play (e.g. Cara joining the police) when they found out they were being scrapped, so they’ve had to intertwine those in with new storylines that lead to an end. And still only with a certain number of hours left to fit into. Things will be rushed, skipped, etc. It’s really a shame. The same happened last time.

Why didn't Wendy just say, "Thanks for offering, Saskia, but we're not dealing with it now. Everyone is tired, and we just want some time together, so we'll see you soon, enjoy the rest of your evening."?

(I know, unrealistic plot requirements, but still...)

Or ask Max to intervene or put in boundaries in the first place

I’m massively perplexed by Saskia. I’m really not sure what we are supposed to be taking from the whole thing!

Whereas the whole Andrew/Holly thing is being spelt out in massive letters, in bold and underlined.

Are they going for parental abandonment issues? Which would be totally fair enough.

She seems to have some stalker ish behaviour who wants to have all the attention and when things don’t go her way she becomes vile.

What happened to the graffiti on the locker. Where is the caretaker or cleaner in EH.
