Come check in for bank holiday Monday’s ep!

No spoilers.

It's ok. He feels fine! I mean, he looks like shit but he feels fine! 😂
Chelsea just popping round to the penthouse and putting her feet up on the sofa really made me chuckle. She has no shame.

I thought we might have had a conversation with Harold today, but nothing. And Agnes is removed from the opening credits. Was that really it? A knock on the door and a pot of tea?

Andrew! Sigh… First he discloses what should be confidential information about a case to a neighbour, then he invites that neighbour to question the witness for him, on a park bench of all places. Then he goes to investigate a suspect, alone, with no back up. He deserved that spade whack! It might knock some sense into him.

I feel like they are just leaving it up to us. Although the Kennedy’s will probably hear a random update to tell someone who met home once like they give a fuck.

I think it could have felt a little bit more final. I think the words and tone made it feel like another scene was coming rather than a suggestion of we won’t see them again but they have a plot question mark if that makes sense?

I saw on their insta page that they were saying farewell to Harold so that scene may well have been his last scene. Not sure about Agnes though.

I thought him leaving was going to be the last but I guess they felt it was so hurried and wanted to give it a happy twist (or he did) so this short scene while he was well enough might have been a solution?

And maybe the perfect blend implies good friends?

I am set on Sadie getting all Amanda’s money. Makes total sense.

I would agree, except I’m fairly sure that Evil Darcy (Boo, Hiss!) had already transferred everything in Amanda's accounts to his own in good time before Amanda was able to change her will (and did she get to see a lawyer at all, anyway? I don’t know, I’ve been fast forwarding through most scenes with Darcy and/or Amanda in them).

I’ve stopped watching until I see on here that it’s safe to come back, with Darcy firmly found out and put in his place.

Well presumably he won’t be keeping that when he inevitably gets caught. But also Erini flats are bought so there’s also assets he doesn’t have.

@Jaichangecentfoisdenom We’ll let you know when it’s safe but from the next time yesterday, it doesn’t look like it will be this week

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 29/05/2025 08:03

Of course, you’re right about Darcy not keeping the money, @MiddleClassProblem - I didn’t think that far ahead, doh!
I don’t expect to be watching again for a while yet, but I’ll happily keep up with what’s been going on in Neighbours by reading about it on here. Just as long as I don’t have to watch Darcy and Chelsea in action, I’m good!

MiddleClassProblem · 29/05/2025 22:22

Holly’s epiphany that she’s enjoys the thrill of catching bad guys is not some big revelation! She’s been doing it for two years!!!

It felt quite 80s the line about self defence and then we see them all at home having a chat about it on the sofa. No police in uniform, no lights, not coming out of the station after a statement, not even a trip to hospital for Andrew. It felt like Thundercats.

Just caught up with yesterday's episode, so glad that letter arrived for Terese. I hope they don't drag it out and they come clean. Expecting fireworks

I agree, although assumed cost savings which is why we haven’t seen separate sets eg when Holly & Nel went to court, we didn’t see their court appearances, just them speaking about the outcomes at home / in the Waterhole afterwards!

TheodoraCrumpet · 02/06/2025 14:37

I have to admit I'm a tiny bit confused about the motivations around the Thomas storyline. Jeffrey would only have come clean about the paternity test if he thought there was more in it for him, so what's his game now? I thought we were being given to understand that Paul was keeping his enemies close in this scenario, but he seems genuinely upset today. And Chelsea leaving Thomas in the penthouse makes no sense.

ILoveBrum · 02/06/2025 15:50

I agree @TheodoraCrumpetother than a plot device to split up P & T, but they could have done that without Jeffrey!

I also think they need to do another DNA test as believing Jeffrey makes no sense - he’s a lying blackmailer so who knows what the truth is!

Workisntworking · 02/06/2025 21:35

I'm finding the escort scenes grim. I'm having to fast forward through them.

EconomyClassRockstar · 03/06/2025 03:02

The escort scenes are so unrealistic. I didn't like them when Byron was doing it but Taye is even more less believable!

paranoiaofpufflings · 04/06/2025 20:37

I’ve just binge watched a few episodes to catch up.

So I’m a bit annoyed at the outcome of the HotRod dating app thing. It’s basically an incel storyline but handled really badly and with no consequence. That guy, whoever he was, made creepy sinister reference to capturing women and having some fun with them. That’s way too dark for Neighbours! And then Holly karate kicks him and the whole thing is wrapped up. Disappointing.

Argh - every scene with Nicolette is just so awful!

At Amanda’s will reading, when they asked when the will was made, the solicitor said the addition of Sadie as manager of the fund was very recent, but that the will was made… when? I couldn’t hear if he said two weeks or two years ago? I’ll have to rewind and watch again if no one heard.

And Wendy - will she never learn the lesson not to go behind Andrew’s back? This storyline will not end well.

Looking forward to the moment Karl catches Darcy out (hopefully soon).

Smidge001 · 04/06/2025 23:09

I found the strange new camera angles of the Kennedy's kitchen really disconcerting. Didn't like it at all!

Nicolette and Byron are being a complete pair of arses over Amanda's will. How totally entitled!! Amanda is allowed to leave her money to whoever she likes. The solicitor dude saying how sorry he was for their loss should have embarrassed them! There they were money grabbing, shouting and arguing a d throwing their weight around over money, without the slightest thought to the fact their grandmother had actually died!

And when their dad gave them money they didn't want it, saying he was just trying to buy their affection. Yet the grandmother who they never seemed to have a good word to say about, should apparently give them an inheritance.

Arseholes.

I reckon they’re missing out scenes like the catfisher not being arrested or seeing Nell’s court scenes because they’re finishing filming and they need the space to air the stories they had lined up. If that makes sense.

paranoiaofpufflings · 04/06/2025 23:49

Thanks @Smidge001saved me watching it back! So two years ago proves she had those genuine wishes. It’s only the addition of Sadie as trustee holder that’s new. All seems reasonable to me. And Jane inherited her nan’s estate rather than it going to Amanda.

Ive just had a thought/flashback - whatever happened to the mysterious Linwell Brothers that were after Cara and Remi?

EconomyClassRockstar · 05/06/2025 00:49

I just laughed at the will scene. Out of all the causes, beauty school scholarships just made me chuckle. I hope when Darcy ultimately has his downfall, he finally tells Jane that Amanda knew she'd been a shit Mum and she gets some closure.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 06/06/2025 23:28

Is the wills scene the most up to date?

in which case I’m caught up.

Wendy took a copy of the Robinson family tree. Without a tube. And the they had the blue tube on the table later.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 07/06/2025 00:16

Ok now I’m caught up.

Hopefully Paul won’t visit Chelsea Thomas in the hotel room.

what’s the deal with dr Anthony?

MiddleClassProblem · 07/06/2025 21:57

I’m sure Holly will solve it all lol
