I’m also really disappointed with the Krista pregnancy situation. Choosing not to have kids is a valid life choice. They made such a fuss over it before, and gave a lot of time to the fostering storyline, only to do a full u-turn and get her pregnant and apparently now happy with it because Nicolette wrote on some sheets of paper.

We only have one more episode left! There’s so much to happen, so much to tie up! Do we get an hour-long special tomorrow? I can’t see how they will fit it all in.

I get what you mean about Krista, but I think now nature has taken its course, it’s not surprising that she’s on board with the pregnancy. I think the reason she didn’t want to be pregnant again was to do with trauma of what happened before but she had badly wanted that first baby, so I can see how the fact that she’s accidentally pregnant will work out for her, it’s like she will get a baby which she always wanted, but without actively having to decide to get pregnant which was too big a decision for her to make and run with

We have 2 episodes left and now we have Krista pregnant and Holly miscarried. Apparently Holly is now fine as she got to reconnect with Sadie and Wendy. I know they were in a hurry to get storylines finished but the writers literally knew the show was ending before they even started half these storylines so why rush them through in the last week?!

Today’s felt like lots of missing lines. Like they chose the key lines and binned the rest.

I really hope so, although doubt it (at least for right now!). I have heard it’s taken off in America so I’m hoping that’ll lead to a revival!

Now this is exciting! And I hope a sign it will be back.

Saw the preview for tomorrow and loved seeing all the faces! Was that Ned back too?!

I'm thinking in a year or so. I just find it so strange that they're answering like that, it's almost like they know something that we don't 😂

Leaves me hopeful and makes tomorrow easier.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 10/12/2025 18:10

Also loved the mention of hard rubbish by Karl and the snaffling of Jane’s vase

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 10/12/2025 18:28

And you paul
is the only original character from episode 1 of Neighbours isn’t he. Cant think of anyone else.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/12/2025 19:00

I paused the coming up section to see who I could spot. I won’t list here in case anyone intentionally didn’t watch it but it’s nice to see.

I’m not fussed about Jane and her boyfriend. It feels like these should be situations that made us as viewers feel warm inside but it was just meh…

I would always love it to come back. Even if this ending feels naff.

I don’t feel there are many loose ends now tbh. Just the house situation which will be the big finale. Why would all these people who have houses with hot tubs want to move to a block of flats?

I’ve just seen this ep is called Neighbours: A New Chapter on my Home Screen for sky which is very confusing.

What does this mean?
sky has neighbours?

whatsyourusername · 10/12/2025 19:25

when Amazon relaunched it they labelled it Neighbours: A New Chapter.

I just don’t feel like this is the end. I’m convinced they will announce something at the end of tomorrow’s episode.

No just a quick thumbnail to it on Amazon

I really hope you’re right but I don’t think so sadly.

Whatthetrolley · 10/12/2025 23:28

Tomorrow's episode is 28 minutes. There's a lot to cram in. Maybe we should all create a bingo board of old characters and see if we can get a full house!

paranoiaofpufflings · 10/12/2025 23:31

I very much doubt anything will be announced at tomorrow’s episode. The Neighbours social media has been very open about dismantling the studio sets, giving away props.

EconomyClassRockstar · 11/12/2025 00:04

I get the feeling Stefan Dennis is quite at peace this time around (having made a shed load more money for his retirement) so I'm kind of feeling this really is it. Although I am a little intrigued by the timing of Matt and Taka's new podcast.

OK, bingo board. I think the street will get saved and the last words will be, "Rack off....Shane or Paul". OR Wendy will tell pathetic Andrew to rack off and if that happens, I will be VERY happy. We just need one more rack off. I think Nicolette will move to wherever Aaron lives and go have a baby with him and his guy (whose name I've forgotten) with his guy being the donor. Obviously, everyone is going to find out Krista is pregnant, even though she's really early on, and it won't be deemed at all insensitive celebrating that because Holly is ok with it. Apparently.

As a complete aside, I will genuinely miss this thread. From the start of the show, it was something to look forward to watching when I got home from a long bus ride in secondary school. All through university, it was a staple. When my children were very young, it was a Godsend as I would time their naps so I just had 22 minutes to myself, sit down, eat something and relax. I watched 9/11 live and cried holding my newborn because I'd tuned into to watch Neighbours. Several years later, I moved to the US and watched it on a dodgy Youtube link because it stopped me getting homesick. And then, I found this thread. Cheers to you, my Neighbours friends. 🍻

It’s been in my life a long time too. After school, through uni and definitely a little bright moment during those early child rearing years. Youngest is now at uni and still watching.

ill miss this thread too. I always look forward to reading what you all think. Maybe we watch the imposter together!

In my darkest times Neighbours helped me get up as I didn’t have anything else. A constant. I’ll miss it.

Smidge001 · 11/12/2025 09:04

Well, have you watched it yet, or saving it til later? I have to say, it felt a bit of an anti climax to me. But maybe that was the idea. Leave it so we can imagine how things pan out ourselves.

ILoveBrum · 11/12/2025 11:03

I’ve just watched the finale - I do get what you mean about an anti-climax but I loved it! Made me cry & leaves it wide open if it ever gets picked up again. I will definitely miss it as I’ve watched from the beginning!

Oh, I saw 9/11 live too (the second tower) as I’d sat down to have my lunch watching neighbours. It’s the only reason I’d have the TV on during the day.

They definitely left open the possibility of a comeback, and some clear hints of trying for one! I have hope... ☺️

Yeknom · 11/12/2025 13:29

Oh and I’m done!!! I’m so sad! My lunch will never be the same (again). Loved the dancey remix of the theme tune in the waterhole, didn’t like Byron’s beard! 🤣

Workisntworking · 11/12/2025 13:33

Agreed it was an anticlimax.

I'm going to miss them so much!

BareBelliedSneetch · 11/12/2025 13:53

I was more concerned by Lucas’s beard! WTactualF was that?!

Smidge001 · 11/12/2025 14:01

Both beards were terrible, but I've seen Lucas's before, so I was more wtf about Byron's today! It was dreadful. Like weird orange cotton wool stuck on in patches Grin
