Will anyone actually be watching this? I keep seeing trailers for it & can't believe this sort of show is going to be shown on tv, i'm not a prude & love trashy tv but surely this is a step way too far?

They released two episodes a week over three weeks on streaming. They’re all available on the Channel 4 app now.

Honestly thought this was a spoof, anybody who watched 30 Rock will be familiar with Milf Island, I thought this was the same sort of thing.

many, many times I thought programme makers couldn’t sink any lower. Many, many times I’ve been wrong.

but I think the worst thing is - if nobody watched this shit, it wouldn’t get made.

do we blame those who watch it?
or those who make it? 🤔

oh I didn’t realise it was mandatory to watch it? Did you actually watch it?

Caught up on this today. Mixed feelings about the whole thing but it may have been done as well as it could be?

What I wondered was whether sex therapists are regularly having sex with their clients as part of their job and what do their partners feel about that?

And also, did three of the contestants come out in varying degrees? Presumably, their struggles to come to terms with this about themselves was a blocker in losing their virginity? Who am I and who am I actually attracted to etc?

chunkyblighter · 29/05/2025 11:39

Despite my concerns I admit I did end up watching most of this and ruminating on it. I don't get the impression if was a big hit for Channel 4 and I hope they don't commission another series. The basic concept of helping people with relationships and intimacy isn't terrible but they don't have to focus on virgins and some of the activities/approach was misjudged.
If the viewing figures (however they're worked out) are low they won't do a second series but how much notice do they take of bad press, negative audience reaction, SM etc?

DwarfBeans · 29/05/2025 12:27

This might be totally mean to say but I think I might declare myself gay if I was around Zac just to avoid his ‘intimidation’.

JojoM1981 · 29/05/2025 12:49

I've just read on the tattle thread that Zak follows Andrew Tate and rape accounts. It's all over Tik tok. Our instincts were right 😮😮😮

SwedishEdith · 29/05/2025 14:49

Interesting, if true, as the therapist was clearly picking up a vibe that put her off. I felt he was like that really annoying bloke in Freshers Week that you see everywhere but no-one seems to actually like.

DwarfBeans · 29/05/2025 17:36

Bloody hell. No wonder they all felt uncomfortable.

purpleme12 · 31/05/2025 17:25

When they did the 'position' exercise at the start of episode 5 they were all doing it with the women
But not all of them are attracted to women are they

purpleme12 · 31/05/2025 17:39

And why was the surrogate partner so surprised when Taylor said she'd never kissed anyone sober, if they whole reason they're there is cos they're inexperienced?

UpUpUpU · 31/05/2025 21:50

It was such an awkward watch! Once I started though I couldn’t switch it off but I did t enjoy it at all. So wrong on so many levels!

Zac made my skin crawl and I did have to go and do something else when he was on screen!

purpleme12 · 31/05/2025 22:59

Watching episode 6
Don't even remember Holly from any previous episodes
