Huw Miller (Watkins) retired from the police force with one major career regret: failing to catch the so-called Ripton Stalker, who would torment his victims before ultimately murdering them.

When an enigmatic stranger named Patrick Harbottle (Green) moves in next door, Huw starts to think that the criminal who eluded him for so many years might now be operating right under his nose.

The synopsis reads: "As Huw attempts to settle into retirement, the case is never far from his mind – and when new neighbour Patrick Harbottle (Green) moves in and utters the chilling phrase 'catch you later' – the sign-off the stalker used to taunt Huw during the investigation –

Huw is determined he’s finally got his man.
"What follows is a high stakes game of psychological chess between the two neighbours as Huw’s world begins to crumble around him.

I was starting to think it was the father of the twins, whatever his name is, till he turned up with his throat slit in a pool of blood!

I did wonder at the other husband - the flirty one. But then he was in bed with the noise

Assume neighbour dies or else he wouidnt say it wasn’t huw and was Patrick - or even someone else

All this endless popping in and out of neighbours’ houses is odd, are there no locked doors and burglar alarms?!

Has Huw's car been tampered with, it's not starting? Looked old... Only saw the reg plate briefly but it looked like an E reg before the new plates starting with two letters came in

They might be in each other's houses all the time but they've turned on Huw very quickly, once Patrick who they've known 5mins sowed the seed. Apart from his wife 🙌🏽

My theory is Patrick is a copy cat .. The last detective mentioned the knots were different with Ruth

That wink though at the end, that was incredibly creepy and chilling.

I didn’t see it last night and read the recap instead.
Seems to be a lot I did miss , so I may have to watch it before tonight’s one.
Seens that Patrick is busy gaslighting everyone

Hope there will be a good twist tonight, it's been a bit too obvious from the start that it must be Patrick, all the smirks each episode, and then last night's wink.

Yes weird how they beleive Patrick who they have known weeks v huw who they have known years

I think it's because Huw is so anxious, acting oddly and seems very unsure of himself .

It has crossed my mind too that he could be the stalker @Blondeshavemorefun and @the80sweregreat and that Patrick is a detective sent out to catch him but I rarely guess correctly 😅

I suspect Huw is the stalker.

Tho wouldn’t the lady who just does recognise him

and he ‘saved’ her as killer in the wardrobe and he chased and lost him

I have to say I am really enjoying this. It does seem it’s a bit too obvious that it’s Patrick but I can’t see who else it could be. I think something will happen to the daughter tonight.

Caught up with Wednesdays one.
The actor playing Steve wasn’t that great , but sad he died an awful death. Ruth too, she didn’t stand a chance either by the looks of it.
Patrick has a face you would like to hit.
It’s all pretty grim all round. I missed the wink at the end, not sure how , but assume Patrick is winding him up :(
Not sure if Huw is innocent or not, but his definitely been framed for a lot of this now !

Quite glad it’s over as it was obvious that Huw was going to solve it but at a price.

Does Huw die? Assume not. Alice wasn’t doing a very good job of putting pressure on the wound though.
Sureky he would have dialled 999 not Jenny’s phone when he realised Patrick was there.
It was ok and there was plenty of tension, but like all 5 dramas, had more holes than a colander.

I think that’s the twist in a poor ending that we don’t know whether Huw dies. The injury looked pretty severe.
