In the audience on the Drew Barrymore show in New York, I can be seen slapping like a seal lion for about 3 seconds. I was interviewed on the radio though, when a book I wrote was shortlisted in a competition. (I didn't win).

I used to work for 5 years as a TV newsreader.

On local news as a toddler for a sponsored toddle. I was apparently chewing on the top of a skittle (the game kind, not the sweet).

My first primary school before we moved across the country was near the BBC studio in Glasgow at the time. Our school were used as the audience for a Scottish kids’ show. I sat beside the drummer from the band The Railway Children and was given a question to ask but the presenter didn’t pick me.

The BBC then decided to run the show from the Botanic Gardens instead of the studio over that summer so we were there a lot and were possibly in the background but we didn’t have a way to record it and it was live so I’ll never know.

I was on The Chase and won. Beat The Beast and our team got £42,000 divided between all four of us.

Been seen in the crowd at our local football team pretty much every time we’ve been televised. The last time there was a split second of me and DH on the pitch during celebrations after we won the league.

I was on Blockbusters in 1989 with my mate Tim. Sadly, I didn’t get chance to say “can I have a P please Bob”.

A lingering shot of me counting votes for the 1997 election. That was broadcast on GMTV. Popped up very briefly on other election count nights.

Just remembered another. I was technically on an episode of Celebrity Hunted. Denise Welsh went to see her son’s band at the Big Weekend in Dundee when I was in the crowd. I can point out exactly where I was but I’m just a tiny blob in a sea of many blobs. 🤣

I also had NO idea she was there. I think our bus went past a Hunters car as we left but there had been so many vehicles along the road for security I would have just assumed it was that at the time. I only found out when I watched the show and saw her go there and saw where the Hunters were parked.

On Sky Sports recently in the crowd at a Chelsea match. I didn’t realise how much of a resting bitch face I had until I saw it!(friends were watching the match and took a photo of the telly)

Oh and my husband was also on Cyprus news, driving his coach in Nicosia. It was about traffic jams I think.

I was on Blue Peter, as an adult, because I was working on another TV programme that they were doing a behind-the-scenes on. Got a badge for it!

DS an extra while a student at Aberystwyth university in the Welsh crime drama Hinterland and as a child in Spain on a news programme about a youth council.

I once saw myself in the crowd of a Soundgarden gig on MTV. My partner has been on Only Connect.

DH was on one of the Michael Portillo train programmes too but he was working as a conductor at the time. Apparently them filming on the train was a right pain in the arse for him trying to work.

The opening shots for a local weather weather report, for years. I tried to get it removed but they wouldn't take it down - allegedly the company who made the film promised the company who broadcast it that all the people shown were actors. I wasn't. People recognised me. I was not happy.

Oh and there was some filming in my workplace and my parents spotted me. They were quite satisfied with the way I looked.
