I think there is a bit of embarrassment from Jamie too, which is why she was crying so much. She was Queen of the show last week in her eyes, giving everyone advice, thought they were the strongest couple. And in the space of one conversation that has completely flipped

I really don't think they shagged. Perhaps would have liked to but it would be a really low move in Jamie's bed and I don't think he's that bad. Plus as Paul ably demonstrated, the walls/ doors there are paper thin in that gaff. There was the suggestion when Jamie said something about noise but I think that was just a lucky soundbite.

Dave reinvented the narrative of his part in their relationship very quickly. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if there wasn’t a lot more to the Dave/Veronica friendship than we have seen so far.

it’s all too horribly familiar, the cold withdrawal, the denying earlier feelings which were clearly positive and the lack of empathy along with a cold demeanor. It’s ‘the script’ really, isn’t it…

I mean, don't get me wrong, Veronica has distracted him and consolidated any thoughts that he wants someone different to Jamie. But I would be very surprised to hear there had been any action.

I think the sexual tension was probably high but nothing happened.

I listen to Lauren Dunn for on last years pod cast She interviewed Jacqui and she actually came across well. I was shocked. She must be acting out for the edit. I think she knows what she is doing.

My thinking is that Dave likes peace and has been put off by Janie involved in all the drama constantly. Then she says she lioves him and it freaks him.

She’s then put him on the spot after Adrian’s comments. He’s replied honestly and is being weirdly castigated.

I wouldn't say he's been castigated for being honest - she had to drag an answer out if him; it's more the sudden 180 he's done with no prior warning, and the cold and insensitive (to say the least) delivery of it. If any of the other guys had behaved like this, he would have been the first to pull them up on it - just as he did with Adrian in the CC a couple of weeks ago. I don't think Dave shies away from confrontation.

I have a theory. I reckon Jaime sensed that Dave had gone off her after her rant at the retreat / dinner party and said a panicked I love you hoping to keep him onside.

I’ve gone off Jeff - smug married and Rhi always looks like she holding back sick / tears. I have warmed to Jacqui though, she is delightfully bonkers. Paul reminds me of that man in a club that comes over and says ‘are you an angel, because you’ve fallen from heaven’ and then uses the same line on every girl there. He’s a greasepaul for sure.

Yeah Jeff was a bit bitchy about Jackie but I did enjoy him laughing himself off screen like Kermit.

Ryan has no head, just a neck that someone has drawn a fake beard on to, plus his shoulders slope to the floor, is this a steroid overuse side effect?

Dave has morphed into an emotionless knob, he can’t even be bothered to respond to the producers questions anymore. I felt horrible for Jamie.

Paul is a sleaze. And Adrian is a fuckmumbling dick. The fact that the guy I called a Cunt in the first few episodes (book loving Elliot) seems like the most genuine bloke in the show says a lot.
