For all much of what she says is batshit, there are basic nuggets in there that you can't argue with. He probably would feel emasculated if she earned more than him. He probably would expect her to make all the sacrifices if they had children. And yes, the dog would be happier having a longer leash and a good sniff around on a walk.

I think Ryan would like a wife he could train like a dog - and decide how long the lead is.

I’m not really a dog person but I want to rescue Freya from Ryan. That poor little sad face at the back door. Jackie is bonkers but I saw a screenshot of her list and most of it was pretty reasonable. I get the impression Ryan was a bit of a geek who thinks if he beefs himself enough in the gym and absorbs enough Andrew Tate he can become his idea of an Alpha male, but his home reveals he is still a messy geek. Clean your bedsheets is not an unreasonable request, but shave off your beard is when you’re 90% neck.

Lurker here - sorry! Had to reply to this to say I (ex-SENDCo) can absolutely see this too. For the reasons you noted but also his slightly puzzled look in some social situations where you can see he is trying to work out what he should be doing and how he should be behaving.

I wonder if the rescue people told Ryan that the dog was happier having her own space outdoors? What happens when it’s raining or cold?

The optics of Freya on a great long lead looped around his shoulder were odd. Like she's a crazy guard when she's just a cute, excitable little mutt.

I wonder why he doesn't just get her a short one if that's either what she needs or he prefers (giving him some benefit of the doubt, there didn't seem any reason she couldn't explore on the lead even if she's being trained after being adopted). Maybe an extender. Plenty of people just have a short dog lead

I reckon Jacqui is lucky that Ryan wouldn't want to be a stay at home dad by the way he treats Freya! He didn't like being told how to 'raise' his dog!

Teejay has lost a LOT of nice points. Taking his time to make his mind up about Beth, ok, shagging her, then announcing his decision like Simon Cowell in front of his mates. She needs to trust her instincts. She's known this has been coming for weeks. He didn't have to shag her then meet her family though.

JeffRhi are a really nice match, I think they could work well. Just two nice, steady people. Hope neither are perverts or married or anything.

Don't care about Awhina and Adrian. Both wasting time for their respective social media exposure. She will go for the every woman/ hard done to angle and he presumably will get his knob out.

Ryan and Jacqui are both interesting people. It's like they've never interacted with other humans before. I'm perplexed as to how they even have a relationship at this point as they both need someone with endless kindness and patience and neither of them really have that.
