Which is really very bad.

New guy Mick and his missus are loathsome
I hope they leave really soon
I want to just grab them and drop kick them hard
So they end up on the dark side of the moon

DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits
Like the children in Corrie tend to do!

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out
Over the pub and money and debts
I wonder who'll end up owning it and running it

All you need on Corrie is for people to say you will make a great mum/dad. Leanne said so and Social Services agreed.

I would love to see Rosie return with a couple of kids. It would make a lot more sense than the constant parade of Kellys Masons and Betsys. Although this being modern Corrie it wouldn't be long before Rosie was either in jail or in hospital🙄

The Street was obviously a bit too humdrum for Rosie before but now she could return and work in Auntie Debbie's Hotel

Aaah who is going to run Auntie Debbie's hotel in future? Could be a role for our Rosie!

Sophie could run the hotel, she can wield a clipboard all the time.

I don’t know how Corrie have managed this, but in the space of two episodes I have gone from liking Carl to detesting him. He is yet another identikit plot device - he is Kit Mark 2.

He is going to blackmail and manipulate Abi, and much much worse than that he is going to blackmail and manipulate Debs.

I think they are going to re-do the Danny and Mike Baldwin scenario, with Carl using Debs’ illness to separate her from the rest of the the family for his own ends. The signs are there - Carl needs money, he conveniently finds out her secret, Debs has a thriving business and is not going to be running it much longer. I really hope I am wrong. 😞

Oh and Theo needs putting straight in the bin.😡

@Shellingbynight oh I hope not. I’ve just seen it done in Classic with Danny and Mike and I hated it then so I hope it won’t happen with Carl and Debbie. If that happens, I think there will be anger

It’s all so tedious these days. I could do a better job of script writing for Corrie in my lunch break. It’s amazing these clowns get paid to write this drivel.

It’s all so obvious yet at the same time disjointed and unbelievable. There’s no depth to any of the plots and sub plots. It feels as though they just chuck everything into the mix and hope for the best. They can’t focus on any one aspect and cover it in depth and just leave loose ends hanging around to be picked up or maybe forgotten.

I find it irritating. But yes I watch it but don’t bother with catch up if I miss episodes due to other things.

And there is so much depth to her and she has history on the show even though she was away for decades

Who was looking after Abi’s child when they were all celebrating Deb’s engagement? (Can’t even remember his name we never see him!) yes reckon Carl will be the new villain! Only Lord help him if Ronnie finds out! I feel sorry for Ronnie with what he’s going to have to deal with in the future.

I expect the invisible Wendy Crozier was looking after Alfie. Actually, Alfies's been pretty invisible lately!

Ronnie minding the baby is great, he needs happiness and do does Debbie. Carl should be gives some nasty illness instead
