New guy Mick and his missus are loathsome

DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits
Like the children in Corrie tend to do!

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out
Over the pub and money and debts

As for Abbie though, I have never warmed to her character.

Yes, Ikwym about Abi, she’s a good actor but I’ve never warmed to her character either.
She always looks miserable.

I don't think Sally and Tim would foster Laila, even if Social Services wake up to what's going on. And it would take months for T&S to go through the fostering registration. (And Sally said no, but obviously Tim will ignore her...)

No, Sally & Tim will foster a troubled teenager who will wreck havoc on the street for years, then, with Tim’s love & patience he/she will turn their life around and end up running the Rovers.

"Poor Abi" seems to be the ongoing narrative around her character. Whatever she does people just respond by pitying her and ignoring her bad behaviour. Roy should have reported her to the police about the gun she procured that killed Natasha. Likewise, Toyah should have pressed charges over the assault. Now she is telling strangers in a car park about her problems. How a young lad died in her arms because of kids carrying knives but never a thought for the woman who died because she bought a gun.

@AmusedMaker that's my thought too. The fostering will be an excuse for more mardy teens with criminal tendencies. As if there aren't already enough of those.

Maybe even more STC scenes.

They used to have scenes in Weathy High but now a juvenile prison is deemed to be more important.

Yes those were the days, when the mardy kids were filmed being mardy in school and annoying Ken.

80% of the cast are now criminals, and the STC gives Tim and Sally a big pool to fish from 😕

Perhaps Hope will be off to the STC next.

i know murderers and all sorts of other criminals walk freely on the street but YouTube pranksters definitely need locking up.

We could do without the fostering storyline, yes, it will be a troubled teen. Sally should put her foot down.

Yeah I would put my foot down too...! Hell would freeze over before I would foster children in my early 60s! I mean, just why, WHY would anyone want to do that? This is a time in your life when you want to be relaxing, winding down, chilling, and looking forward to retirement: not running around after boisterous children.

Where has this come from anyway? (The storline in Corrie?) Neither Tim OR Salleh have ever mentioned fostering children. Daft!

Sally has put her foot down but Tim is not listening.
The storyline came from Tim's sadness about "not being able to keep Mason safe". Which isn't really a good place to start fostering other troubled teens who will doubtless end up with a knife in the guts because this is Corrie.

Tim should just go and bloody volunteer at some sort of youth service if he is so keen. I would rather see Sophie and Rosie come back (with new heads) with some unruly kids in tow. I like Steve and Cassie together and I think Carl and Abi have great chemistry, but I really hope she doesn't start shagging him. (she will)
