Another ch 5 drama

We love a ch 5 😂

The feud is a new 6 part drama - airing for 3 nights a week x 2 weeks

What can happen when a neighbourly dispute gets out of hand

Jill and Rupert play a couple - Emma and John who fall out with their neighbours Sonja and Alan over extending their kitchen and an extension

The Feud, an upcoming domestic thriller, takes the tension of "nightmare neighbours" and raises it to a whole new level, blending gripping drama with a cast of familiar faces that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Starring Jill Halfpenny and Rupert Penry-Jones, this Channel 5 drama (https://www.yours.co.uk/leisure/celebrity-tv/channel-5-dramas/) is "full of paranoia“ and promises to pull viewers into a world where trust is scarc
e, and every interaction feels like it could ignite a powder keg.

'Emma and John Barnett, who, along with their teenage daughter Beth, appear to live an idyllic life on Shelbury Drive.

They’re close friends with their neighbours, Sonia and Alan, and despite their foibles, are also fond of older couple, Derek and Barbara.

'The close friendships in this seemingly peaceful street prove to be not quite as harmonious as they seem', teases the synopsis.

'When Emma and John decide to add a kitchen extension to their house, things quickly start to spin drastically out of control.

As objections to the plans are raised, unexpected skeletons and life-threatening secrets begin to rise to the surface.

Laced with menace, The Feud reveals how Emma’s aspirational dream turns sharply into obsession, paranoia, and fear. One decision sets in motion events that have unforeseeable consequences for both her and the people living on her street.'

I never got round to the Au Pair but this looks better. These actors must have a contract with Channel 5. The same ones turn up over and over again!

CollaterlieSistersSister · 08/04/2025 18:25

Rupert P-J? I’m in 😍

But also, much love for Alex McQueen - in particular I’m a huge ‘The Thick of It’ fan. I hope he’s got some expensive biscuits.

NewAgeNewMe · 08/04/2025 18:25

Strange seeing ‘Del boy’s ‘ partner in it ( Barbara)
Obviously the new kitchen extension isn’t going to go well. The neighbours don’t like change!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2025 21:22

Would you really spend thousands on a new kitchen if only one of your working

Not warming to Jill Halfpennys character

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2025 21:24

Will the daughter take a pic of something as always snapping

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 14/04/2025 21:24

She seems to want to stay on there but he doesn’t.
She must earn good money to consider this extension as a good idea. They clearly have lived there a while.
The kitchen they have already looks ok to me !
The teen daughter looks more early 20s than 18.

the80sweregreat · 14/04/2025 21:26

Blimey , Damien Trotter must be mid 30s now ?
lol
I wonder if he is like his dad ?
I also don’t like the Jill halfpenny character. Mind you , she plays the same character in every drama.

the80sweregreat · 14/04/2025 21:29

Is this a ‘ kitchen sink ‘ drama then ? Lol
So far it’s been pretty dull.

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2025 21:34

I’ve sat through 1,000 court cases and no police officer or lawyer would behave like that.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2025 21:34

Why are they so against the extension

must be due to their sons body

OP posts:
Housewife2010 · 14/04/2025 21:36

Three ex Coronation Street stars in it so far! The one who plays Nathan currently in the classic episodes shown every afternoon, Jill Halfpenny & most surprisingly Peter Barlow!

JenniferBooth · 14/04/2025 21:36

Jesus none of these people are likeable at all

the80sweregreat · 14/04/2025 21:36

Marcus must be buried under their patio or garden is my uneducated guess ( bit like Brookside )
Maybe the husband was involved hence wanting to move home ?
might be too obvious though , but this missing man must be important?

the80sweregreat · 14/04/2025 21:41

This reminds me of an ‘ inside number 9’ type programme, only 6 episodes not a one off
Especially the security man character
