The builder is nasty! Is this what Peter Barlow is doing these days…

I’d be so intimidated by those builders. Why didn’t they hire a small digger for the foundations ? The fence was down between them and the horrible neighbours , it could have got through. I didn’t think they did digging like that by hand ? Not that I know much about building though.

I manage to watch this mon and Wed as not at work

but Tue I tend to watch wed am as at work

Guessing she is going to show the daughter the pic and her see her dad with neighbour

Well, that took rather a dramatic turn in the last minute!

I bet they end up putting Derek under the tree ! ..
At least they can switch the awful jazz music off now and Barbara may even help them cover it up too!

Forget about the blaring jazz, it's the plinky-plonk piano incidental music that I'm finding hilarious throughout. The series wouldn't seem half as low-rent if they'd have just taken that out 🤣

Also: identical hallway panelling in at least 3 of the houses.

Despite naffness, I am enjoying this and genuinely felt gutted for Beth tonight. Surrounded by selfish bastards.

I’d love Barbara to bury the old git. Although she might just go for a cover up of some kind in order to get the insurance money ! She needs a new life away from him and all that’s gone on, bless her.

I’m currently trying to write a TV script. If people think this is “slow” I’m knackered. Every scene has a new “ secret” !
Why are the characters unlikable? Is it because they aren’t realistic or just the relationships.

Those photos were up on a wall Peter Barlow was involved with ! Where on earth was that place ?
Im invested enough to watch the last two episodes, but it’s been a slog.

John looks slightly bemused at every scene. I don’t blame him, it’s just bemusing and not well written.

We’ve been watching this despite the fact there has never been a channel 5 drama that’s not absolute shite. It’s given us loads of laughs so far.
