Those other cops were so annoying, what was the Spanish bit about...totally pointless and stupid

It was to show they were stupid for viewers who don’t do subtle. My husband and I do Duolingo so liked the nonsense phrases. In some ways the other police guy won as he seemed to enjoy life more and got the credit for solving the case. Humphrey gets wet earnest Martha and now sullen sprog too

The running gear made it so obvious from the start

Just watched it tonight. Poor Kelby lusting incoherently after the chief super is as cringeworthy as ever.
Archie may possibly have genuinely moved on, he certainly seemed quite taken with Esther who did indeed scrub up well - lovely dress.
Was that punch deliberate or genuine clumsiness?

Agree we guessed boyfriend too. They seemed unbelievably obtuse for not thinking of someone who knew her when they wondered how they could know what she was wearing when they weren’t near her

LOL - DH is grumpy because 5 minutes in I said - "I bet it's the current boyfriend as he seems to be controlling trying to stop her going out by herself and going to the hen party ..." then I pointed out when she was taken from the glub that current bf and ex bf were both wearing black hoodies.

I think the perps were pretty easy to guess but I still love it

DS and I watch DiP together so have moved onto this but find it really quite painful. Both episodes have been predictable for the crime and then the foster kid - and why is Martha referring to him as ‘the funny man’ and keeping her mum away until the girl has settled? It’s all very odd and contrived

Even I managed to guess it was the current boyfriend , it was such an obvious ploy .

Last week's was the same . I'm waiting for this series to pick up , as the last couple were good , have they run out of ideas ..

I get it was a rush job the first adoption but no reason why now she can’t get one and move back into her house
