I think I am also going to try some of those recipes ( home made focaccia) as well trying to make my own candles at home( it doesn't seem to be a very difficult task). Definitely loving the children party theme/ recipes 🙂

Just a note on the Sussex surname - I heard she has said this. But I thought her kids were given the Mountbatten-Windsor surname?

AFAIK they can use both : Harry and William had the surname Wales at school and William's children used Cambridge but probably use Wales now

I would just ignore these people. The vitriol directed at her is sad ( for those who perpetuate it) and pathetic at this point.

As a Duchess, she doesn't have a surname, she is just Meghan.

The children don't really have surnames either but will use Sussex if a surname is required eg for School.

William and Kate's children used to use the surname Cambridge but I expect now they use Wales as William and Harry did when in the Army. Adult William and Kate are just William and Catherine.

I am surprised Meghan doesn't realise this. Must be cool not to have a surname, make you feel like Elvis or similar.

I liked Mindy as a writer and actor on the Office, I read her biography was put right off her. Won’t be watching this but enjoying the comments.

There's nothing at all "different" about her. That's the problem. She's just another thin, rich, Trad Wife. They're ten a penny. If she was different, she'd be interesting. I quite like lifestyle shows, but it's got to be entertaining.

I think she'd benefit from taking advice about presentation. She should watch Nigella or Rachel Khoo. They know how to present well in an engaging way, plus they're obviously good cooks.

What put you off. I also liked her in the Office. Haven’t read the book.

Also, why is Meghan using packet mixes? Pancakes are easy! You don't need a packet mix, is it because she's trying to sell the product?

I work and I also make jam. Does that mean I am a narcissist? I thought it made sense to preserve the soft fruit from the many bushes the previous owners of my house planted all over my garden.

in my experience and as someone pretty obsessed with food and cooking, in terms of effort : yield, jam is one of the best things you can do in the kitchen.

It's American though isn't it - if it isn't ultra processed they don't eat it

She's using pancake mixes in the show?

It's nicely shot but I see why people saying it tone deaf. Not many of use have a day to prepare for a friend staying over in our guest cottage to reminisce about the days we only had an agent, but no publicist.

Yes, she just seems to be promoting a product range. There's actually very little cooking. She seems to be more focused on making stuff look pretty, flowers and balloons etc.

There's some cooking. Disappointed by the lack of bee content in episode 2 (SPOILER ALERT)

I generally don't really care but for some reason I find her yearning to be known for her wholesome, kind and gracious nature utterly sickly. It did seem very fake and her 'friends' seemed very phony. And false.

Even Mindy is questioning that Megan would have done this stuff!

I watched for 10min and I had to stop as I found it so boring. The space was so slow.

I'd like to know the real her. This is not the real her. This is some kind of image she had in her mind and she's using her acting skills to get through these scenes with her "friends".
I wonder how she used to be with her dad, that would've been the real Meghan.

Netflix should’ve mixed it up and done “celebrity Meghan Hunt” and redeployed Bear Gryllis to make cakes and bath salts out of ingredients he’s had to forage from Meghans garden without being detected.
