There's just so much to say here.
Positives IMHO:
She is a confident and slick presenter but also, that is not a very rare skill.
The production values are very high so it looks great FWIW.
The premise of simple things and being a great host is ok I guess?
Negatives
It really feels like marina hyde (God love her mind and her journalistic sword of Truth) called it a series of instagram posts.
It also is relentlessly bragging about where she lives. She reminds me of people who live in Hove, no where can compete! (Sorry Hove people but it's hard to hear sometimes....)
It's not her home so the premise immediately feels very fake.
The 'aww shucks lil old me?' is at odds with her evidently firm grip on everything and dictatorial pronouncements. Also the claims to being an ordinary person and claiming ownership over all the identities, she's an actress! She's a Toronto girl! She's a hostess beyond compare, she's a Girl Scout! She's a sous chef! She's a funky GF! She's an ubermamma! She's a communitarian! She's a fashionista with some inexpensive trousers! She loves dogs! Kids! She wants the sun to brew her tea! She is humorless despite the constant but inauthentic laughter!
She reminds me a bit of Wernher von Braun in Dr Strangelove played by Peter Seljers, all gentle and nice and sweet voiced but trying to control his salute arm and conceal his inner fascist. I don't mean that she is politically that way but her gentleness is not entirely convincing.
Everything feels like a sales pitch to be liked.
