I think it's a shame Alexander wasn't in from the start, I think he was entertaining and had some really interesting observations, but the cards seemed stacked against him from the start. Also wish Fozia would have stayed longer, she would have really shaken up the game as had some interesting insights also and would have been good to get to know her more.

I agree it's sad any of them are getting hate comments on social media, imo fine to comment about the game but just know even without looking some will be unnecessarily savage which is awful.

CaraCameleon · 25/01/2025 09:10

I think the whole game would have been better without the train or the seer nonsense.

Indeed. Level playing field.

Coldanddamp · 25/01/2025 09:11

@lolly792 imo "why do you want it so bad" is different to "do not trust this woman in terms of what's personal or not but as I said it's interesting how people read things differently. 🤷🏻‍♀️

just felt to me like Frankie was seething that Charlotte spun what had happened at the Seer reveal. What did she expect? That Charlotte would just agree, Yeap I'm a traitor?!

I don't think she was seething just trying to process it. I was taken a bit aback by how quickly C was like "no one else will know though" after the reveal. Of course C has to fight for her position. You have to remember F expected C to be a faithful & is taking it in & is on the back foot.

RealHousewivesOfTaunton · 25/01/2025 09:11

It would have been interesting to see Alexander and Kas play together. I'd loved to have seen Yin's gameplay too!

NetZeroZealot · 25/01/2025 09:12

Throughout the series they all missed the very key observation that Traitors will tend to keep quiet during the early stages of the round table until it becomes clearer what direction it’s going in. If they’d applied that logic they would have got traitors out much earlier.

Yeah the train was weird, felt bad for the one who didn't manage to escape the cage and become a contestant. I suppose every series now they're going to try and come up with a unique twist but it doesn't really need it- the concept works because human nature and those elements are the most interesting part.

Yes, the train disadvantaged people from the start. Bonds had already been formed. People were never going to fully trust an outsider and they would always have been banished at some point. They did something positive by stepping off the train (someone had to) but paid for it.

lolly792 · 25/01/2025 09:14

@CarefulN0w I agree. Someone who joins the army at 16 is joining something where their days are totally structured and directed by someone higher up the ranks. It's not about critical thinking or strategy at all. It's just doing what you're instructed.

I felt it was very obvious that Leanne had no ability or even willingness to try to think logically, everything was an emotional reaction. It was like she was floundering without having someone giving clear, unequivocal instructions and she resorted to just shouting, getting stressed and shaky.

xsquared · 25/01/2025 09:14

Frankie got on my nerves in the final episode. She was too emotional and still shell shocked to have been thinking straight. She really didn't have much fight in her amd if she had been banished before Charlotte, it would have been well deserved

fingerbobz · 25/01/2025 09:14

@JaneAustensHeroine

Exactly. You summed her up

Doesn't mean she was undeserving

Alexander's Oxbridge and ex Government
She's a squaddie

They non comparable

fingerbobz · 25/01/2025 09:16

I think Leanne played a better game rhan Frankie

Frankie never once said anything compelling. She should have been able to articulate herself better

Figgygal · 25/01/2025 09:17

I'm indifferent to Jake winning he was a steady player throughout though he did get a bit x factory sob story about his disability in the last 3 episodes I hadn't heard it mentioned prior to that

Leanne im Cross about like most other people twitter is going for her today.

I feel sorry for Alexander he came across genuine and likeable, had good theories, worked hard in missions and was selfless. He was never gonna win though.

Charlotte was screwed by the seer power she was actually the best traitor ever - the way she spoke to Frankie when revealed and then the way she was spinning things the next day was actually quite chilling/scary.

Oh well very deflated in the ending is it worth watching uncloaked?

Except Armani didnt

She did too much too soon
😂

CarefulN0w · 25/01/2025 09:18

Yin really was as mad as the proverbial container of frogs. Given her clothes theory it would have been something like Anna and Charlotte dress like children's TV presenters so are obviously devious traitors. Frankie wore a gold scarf so was guillotined in a past life and Freddie has curly hair so must be a mastermind.

Tamboureeny · 25/01/2025 09:18

I suppose C had a bit of time to come up with her approach and figure out how she was going to deal with it, whereas for F it was a complete surprise and didn't have as much time to process it. I can't even imagine how pressurised and stressful that environment is, especially after a few weeks away from home.

I don't usually watch uncloaked but did yesterday and enjoyed it.

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 25/01/2025 09:21

If they go with a seer next year it should be done earlier but secretly so no-one knows who the seer is and they can just try to sow seeds without outting themself.
To me they need to add something for the traitors that put them at risk of exposure either side quests, in clear sight murders or even just a little daily simple task like having to swap portraits around but that exposes them to the potential of getting caught sneaking around.

i love uncloaked, it makes a huge difference to my enjoyment

Lentilweaver · 25/01/2025 09:24

The suspicion of intellect and brains in the world continues to the Traitors. Sad.
I wonder if it will be the same in the US version.
Anyone who looks or seems clever banished or murdered.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 25/01/2025 09:26

i guess that is why Charlotte went Welsh,
so not posh english

CloseYourRingStress · 25/01/2025 09:28

I wondered where Frankie's children were when she said that they didn't even know she was on the show post the helicopter ride. I thought she said they were school/university age, so I presumed boarding school.

I don't think she contributed a lot throughout the game tbh. The 'as a mummy' thing was clearly the way she thought she would best appeal to Leanne because Leanne had had a really tough time with her twins and was hoping to fund another round of IVF.

BakedBeansforabrain · 25/01/2025 09:29

A rubbish end to an average series

the seer nonsense completely spoiled the show

Samcro · 25/01/2025 09:29

the nasty posts about Leanne are awful. glad she won.

Charlotte was awful. she was grinning all the time whilst Frankie was upset.

MaggieFS · 25/01/2025 09:32

I think there could be far more interesting ways to shake things up a bit than the train. It's a good idea to have more games where the traitors are incentivised to try and sabotage.

There was very little this year that really produced the so-called evidence. Everything was just hypotheses about how a traitor or faithful could behave and of course everything could be done one way, or the polar opposite as a bluff. So really, they added nothing.

Trying to sabotage games could really cause chaos. Building on pps idea that the seer could come into play earlier [and this is not a fully formed idea 😀] what if there was a seer's oath e.g. you can't say you've been a seer and you can never reveal what you directly find out. There could be two or three seers through the series. The upside of this is that if a seer picks a traitor and correctly votes for them, they could at the same time make themselves more of a target.
