I'm always in awe at what they achieve in such little time.
DD was home with bf and two friends at the weekend. I dreamed up a straight forward menu. Somehow it took me half the day to cook.
Chocolate brownies.
Walnut, pear and Roquefort salad with Focaccia (bought from great local baker).
Shepherd's pie. Roast kale.
Lemon meringue pie.
These chefs would slay that lot, an hour ought to do it.
I started cooking at 1pm (after a morning spent cleaning and making beds).
Sent them off to the pub while I was finishing the lemon meringue and sat down with a glass of wine to watch a bit of Strictly after I'd laid the table and played up the salad. 🤷♀️
