Poor Montell, as with Shayne, it's tough to know you're not getting the public votes. I hope she storms back next week.

I actually FAR prefer Pete’s approach of - “I can’t quite believe it, I definitely can’t dance, but I’m prepared to be humble and work hard” to all the “friends for life, Strictly superfan, over-dramatic screeching, ooh no can’t a dance a step despite having gone to dance class since I was four” stuff that some of the contestants put us through 🤷🏻‍♀️

I glad they explained the sambathon, and said that all seven couples had danced a samba in the series so far. I wonder if we can read anything into which couples hadn’t been given one by the time they were voted out.

I thought they always had additional choreographers for the Charleston?

As much as I like Wynne it was the right decision to save Montell. Hope Pete is next to go - it will be very unfair for any of those left to go before him (unless he somehow pulls something incredible out of the bag and someone else does something atrocious).

Put Pete in tails next week and let's see if he can really dance. Stop sexualising him it's embarrassing.

I'm surprised that Craig didn't call Montell's salsa 'stompy'. It looked to to me, no bounce, though she danced it better this time. She looked lost on where she was up to at the start, first time around.

I can't see Pete being in the Dance Off next week, he hasn't been yet regardless of judges scores. I think Montell and JB will. Montell is obviously not getting the public votes unfortunately.

I thought he had a holiday booked to the Caribbean mid November. Not sure Strictly contestant will be allowed by travel insurance for a reason to cancel

Based on the dance-off alone I thought Wynne should have stayed. Montell was still steppy and messy but Wynne put more energy into his dance and it was sharper.

He's with Maura Higgins...well he was...who knows these days!

For Pete's sake, I actually hope they do give him a ballroom with proper music and tails. I am not a fan of his dancing but I felt it was cruel for him to have done that dance this week. He was definitely embarrassed himself.

At least if he is actually given the same opportunity to produce a beautiful dance rather than another cheesy routine, then we can judge him more fairly.

I've almost resigned myself to Pete's block voters seeing him all the way to the final, regardless of his performance.

Maura Higgins ex Love Island. Irish TV Presenter. Pete was out there last year supporting his friend Sam Thompson whose girlfriend Zara was on Strictly, also ex Love Island, quite the set!

Caribbean? I'd have thought much more likely ITVX will be flying him out to Oz to welcome Maura on the bridge whenever she leaves the jungle?

And let’s not forget that Giovanni dated both Jowita and Maura…That’s quite the Venn diagram!

I don't think that Pete is a bad dancer.
He's just the worst one left.

But we all know that that is irrelevant in Strictly terms.

Oh I love Maura I watched that season LI religiously

Maybe it was a coverup ! It's what he said at the start of the season, that he hoped to make it to November but no further as he had a holiday booked

Wynne was well aware it was the right decision and I thought his closing comments were gracious and positive without being over the top. I've said it before - I really don't get the hate for him. To call his dance 'atrocious' is over-stating, surely?

In your opinion. When she's awful it's terrible.

And also Kai was pictured looking very close to Maura after last month's Pride of Britain Awards.
