I'm reminded of Phil Wang on Taskmaster wearing the Bruce Lee tracksuit with insufficiently supportive undergarments. He recorded all the location tasks without ever seeing what he looked like on film, and only realised when his first VT was played in the studio and the audience cracked up. From the way Pete suddenly covered his nether regions with the coat in the Clauditorium I suspected that he'd finally caught a glimpse of himself on the monitor.

The costumes were ropey last night.
They go on and on about Blackpool, yet they skimped on some decent outfits to match such an iconic dance venue and had too many novelty dances.

It's tricky. I think Tasha will emerge as the Final Boss in two weeks time to destroy the least popular remaining dancer and then knock out Pete in the semi finals. Wynne is toast either this week or next. But it could be any of Jamie, JB or Montell through to the final depending on the luck of the draw.

Final 4 should be Montell/Sarah/Pete/JB but it likely wont be.

Chris will be in the final.
Tasha will be
Sarah will be.

The 4th person will be any of the others. Hopefully not Pete.

And Chris will win. 100%.

I agree. Pete possibly, if he keeps avoiding the DO.
Montell if she is only ever in the DO against someone clearly worse.

I'd like JB in the final just because I'd like to see what Lauren would choreograph for a freestyle. I've seen showdances from all the others (Vito/Aljaz/Jowita/Dianne and wasn't that enamoured. Jojo, I know his and John's was choreoed by Jason Gilkison last time, so wouldn't mind seeing what he did on his own (unless they all get outsiders now and I haven't realised).
I also think the cc as we've agreed takes the shine off the showdances in general but assume Sarah will go the way of Caroline Flack and do a wafty balletic one if Vito has any sense. I wouldn't mind them winning and him having back-to-back because she has the range, darling!
But Chris will win. It's been a given from the start.

The pros never choreograph the showdances. In fact these days you could get to the final and your pro might have only choreographed 9 out of the 14 dances you do in total. (Showdance, Couple's Choice, Argentine Tango, Charleston, Salsa; all done by outside choreographers.) Given that she was a specialist, I was surprised that they didn't let Janette choreograph her salsas.

Even with the other dances the pros get given the concept for the routines and they get choreographical input from Jason Gilkison's team throughout the week.

I've seen the Fosse Sweet Charity again. In comparison with that, I like Sarah's Fosse might be iconic but it's just weird posturing to me (I can live with being a philistine!)

Really? I knew the specialist ones were external but the showdances are too? So Oti didn't do her Kelvin medley and Camilla didn't do Tom's? Surely not.
What happens if a sleb or pro think the choreo is crap then? and let's face it, many of the showdances have been, for some time now...

Jason G only joined Strictly in 2014, I'm pretty sure that the pros choreographed their own showdances before that - for good (Tom Chambers) or ill (Colin Jackson, Lisa Snowdon). And indeed after that as well the pros would have had input. Joe McFadden's showdance featured the first
