I think he has a script in his head that he has created his reality from. He simply regurgitates it constantly and believes it is true now. 'Victim', 'self-pity', 'lost my world', 'no personal responsibility or blame on me', 'unfair' , 'horrible Press', 'bullying colleagues with scores to settle', 'thrown under the bus' , 'my brother's fault and I took the blame'. 'my sanctuary is my family and family home.'

He seems to have forgotten it is all his own doing. He lied to his wife about his sexuality for years and made her live a lie. He groomed a teenage boy who he later had a sexual relationship with- and lied about it to his employers, the Press, his family, his colleagues. So far we have seen not a shred of apology, humility, nothing. It's pathetic.

He did nothing illegal but the gap between what is legal and what is honest, decent, moral and right is wide. He's miles away from reality.

The suggestion from some of homophobia if you think PS is disgusting is weird. He visited school pupils as a mentor, privately contacted one of the children (along with other under-16 yo boys) on social media, then fast-tracked that child into a sought-after position as a paid subordinate as soon as he was old enough to have the job and started shagging him while he was his boss. This is not a 'gay' thing, it's a groomer thing.

And as a pp said, as well as the above, he covered for his peado brother. Instead of alerting his victim's mother/school PS left his brother to continue doing it. Only when the police contacted PS did he not lie about what his brother had told him. Surprised Channel 5 want to give him airtime.

Very good point about him covering for his brother. Instead of going to the police he told him not to do it again and then brother was arrested 3 months later I believe. Seriously dangerous lapse in judgment there which could imply why he thinks he has done nothing wrong compared to his brother and because he was good enough to wait until the child was an adult before he started having sex with him 🙄

I really think there would have been the same disgust if the runner had been a woman/girl that Phillip knew as a child.

I thought Martina was excellent. Her strength of feeling about it was very clear.

Same as Fi and Jane on their podcast who made the point that it’s about older people exploiting the young when you are in a position of power over them.

They clearly had very strong feelings about him and the situation.

It’s nothing to do with him being gay! It’s the fact that he exploited a young person in the work place with whom there was a massive power imbalance, and he lied about it brazenly to his colleagues and presumably his family.

He is only looking at from the older man point of view.. people would be just as disgusted I hope if he'd been screwing a teenage girl that he'd met at age 10.
