Is anyone watching? New series with Nicole Kidman?

Agree that Tag (Liev Shreiber) is not a DILF- I’ve never found him attractive. Why do they keep treating us to close ups of his eye? I find the fiancé character Amelia really annoying for some reason.

Nothing on Nicole's face is 'hers' anymore. Hasn't been for a very long time.

I'm really shocked that more people don't think Liev Schreiber is gorgeous!

I thought it was definitely enjoyable nonsense.

I have to respectfully disagree. It's a good job we don't all like the same things! He was also very attractive in Ray Donovan, although admittedly that was a while ago. I like his lips 😍

@ComeOnThenFanny, how funny that she’s Bono’s daughter, maybe that’s why I find her annoying then 😉.
Now that it’s mentioned that they look freezing outside/ by the pool I’m really aware of it. It’s similar to when they filmed White Lotus, I think it was winter when they shot it but the actors had to pretend to be basking in the sunshine!

That's the telly for you. Unattractive older men are suddenly transformed into babe magnets. OK, he's rich, which helps, but we're meant to think he's some sort of hunk. He certainly is not.

Amelia was working at a zoo when she met her rich boyfriend - that's the reason for the zoo at the end.

And that group dance was absolute cringe I had to fast forward each time

It didn't think it was great. Watchable but no more than that.

Nicole Kidman used to be a brilliant actress but this wasn't one of my favourite roles she'd played.

Liev Schrieber as the hot husband doesn't work for me.

Enjoyed Dakota Fanning & Jack Reynor (he was brilliant in What Richard Did)

Eve Hueston - I cannot get passed the abomination that was Behind Her Eyes. Every time I see her in something it reminds me of it.

I didn't find the lead actor fanciable at all where as several of the women were beautiful. I find very few male actors handsome though

Benji suffered from a terrible wig/dye job that totally clashed with his natural colouring.

Greers eyebrows were so distracting. It was difficult to look at anything else!

I thought it was enjoyable, proper turn your brain off entertainment.

I liked the portrayal of a complicated marriage.

Very on trend, sexed up Agatha Christie type thing. Quite amusing. Don't count the plot holes, you haven't got enough fingers. I've seen worse.

Riverhill. It's ALL about the money. Take a close look at the assembled ranks of squillionaires the media force us to be acquainted with. Then have a look at the queues to get in.

I think it was a tongue in cheek thing with the Dad it's was more or less portraying that most women see £££ signs more than attraction you only have to take a look at real life old wrinkly men celebs with women half their age and realise it's all about the money more than attraction so I can see how that works.

Dakota Fanning was brilliant! Nicole is a great actor but her look is disturbing. It's clear the lighting and camera angles are heavily skewed to make her skin look a certain way. Looks like some poor sod spent 6 months in editing for every one of her scenes. The sons were grotesque, Liev Schrieber a manky, stoned alcoholic waster, mumbling his way through life but still shagging every woman in his path was making a point. The big reveals in the last episodes absolutely crazy, bonkers syphilitic madness! Was absorbing in an escapist way.

Watched it all over the weekend
Absolute rubbish though I hadn't settled on the killers identity until the end and even thought there was going to be a last minute surprise.

There will be a follow up. Probably already filmed.

Her skin was like a porcelain doll, it was strange to see her looking smoother than 30 years ago.. as a human being it feels "off"

Well I liked it. Not everything has to be IMPORTANT DRAMA. Loved the dance sequence (and am going to have to watch those bits again to get the changes, I didn’t notice them). Also, a small detail but I really liked the camaraderie between the police officers, it was a really realistic portrayal of the kind of easy friendship you drop into when you work together every day. And I loved the twist about NK’s background and the way she owned it.

watching it now, episode three, Quite enjoying Eve Hewson and Liev Schrieber, didn't realise Eve Hewson was such a good actress. Finding it hard to watch Nicole Kidman and Isabelle Adjani though, they both look so strange and have destroyed beautiful faces, it overshadows their acting. Isabelle Adjani has the puppet mouth where her facelift has been pulled too tight, similar to Priscilla Presley.

I think it's a very inferior imitation of White Lotus.

I liked it but don't get the ending - don't want to say too much but I don't know what the motive would have been?! I must have missed something! Love Nicole Kidman, she is brilliant
