Is anyone watching? New series with Nicole Kidman?

I watched it and enjoyed it

The fiancé was a bit miscast I agree

They arrest the culprit at the end so unless I'm missing something it's pretty obvious who it is

I did predict correctly but only halfway through and to be honest it could have been anyone really but the clues were there

I’m in the enjoyable nonsense camp. I haven’t seen the last episode yet and haven’t a clue whodunnit. TBH I don’t really care, as I don’t identify with any of the characters, but I do want to know.

Yes it’s the equivalent of a cream cake; not very good for you but you enjoy it anyway.

Top quality trash for me, I enjoyed it. Didn’t get the very end at zoo though 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Nicole's porcelain doll face is bizarre.

Totally agree about the Benji actor being miscast. I know him from the Serpent & Chesil Beach & he was far more suited to those roles. Plus he’s English so it seems even more of an odd choice.
I’ve only watched the first episode & agree with pretty much everything said so far. Nicole Kidman looks so strange & it’s hard to focus on her acting.

Ive finished it and was a good weekend binge watch after a busy week. I didnt think it was v good quality though, mainly due to so much miscasting and lqck of chemistry between characters.

Liev Strieber as a DILF that everone was throwing themselves at? Please, just doesnt have the face/vibe, and couldn't even shave for the part. Ok I get he was rich, but still. And Benji amd Eve Newton just had zero chemistry. And the weird French woman.

Story was fun, characters were miscast and unbelievable, for me.

The policewoman was well cast, I thought. A perfect contrast to the expensively coiffed family members.

Otherwise, I agree.

It was a Sunday afternoon sort of series really, enjoyable and not very taxing. The setting was glorious though, even though the actors in the scenes around the pool always looked freezing!

I kept wondering what it must be like to live that sort of lifestyle where a small army of people discreetly cater to your needs, quietly cleaning up after you, folding rugs , plumping up cushions, picking up your stuff and putting it away, flitting about in their pink overalls in the day and their black uniforms in the evening, a bit like living in a 1930 Agatha Christie novel I imagine, though with fewer corpses.

Entertaining trash. But Nicole Kidman and Isabelle Adjani's strange immobile doll faces are really distracting.

I’m not distracted by Nicole Kidman’s face in this as much as her weird hair. Is it a wig? Looks awful.

Did you notice the French woman had the wrinklest forehead under the fringe yet she's clearly had facelifts, fillers, eyelifts etc so she looks like a doll. So she clearly hates wrinkles. It just didn't fit that she had a wrinkly forehead, it kept distracting me 😂

He's not attractive at all

I've watched one episode and found it boring. Is it Worth persevering? It's the number 1 programme on Netflix at the moment but not understanding the hype so far?

I’m plodding on, but the whole thing is a cliche and has borrowed bits from loads of other things, to lesser effect.

Dowdy but brilliant police officer. Yawn. Seen this character too often.

I enjoyed it, particularly liked that it had a proper ending and thought it was generally well acted, especially the detectives/police.

However, if this crime had happened in real life I think there would be great deal of difficulty in getting a conviction, without a confession.

her face is distracting and as my husband said, he voice and look reminded us of Moira Rose.

she seems to look more normal after episode 1.

the French woman’s face is so much worse than hers though, isn’t she? And her character seems pointless (as of episode 3).

I really enjoyed this series but Nicole Kidman's eyes just don't look like her eyes any more. They have been opened up
