Broadcaster Kelly Brook and her husband, Jeremy
Radio 2 host Scott Mills and his husband (then fiancé), Sam"

"Their journey begins in Belém, Northern Brazil - the gateway to the Amazon - and will pass through five checkpoints across the length of South America, to reach the finish line in the Andes, Frutillar in Southern Chile."

They are portraying her as vacuous and unable to focus on something like a race wanting it all to be all about what she wants. Plus she never seems to not be talking.

I don't mind her but the editing is not being kind to her (maybe that's what she's like all the time though!). I suspect it was edited to look like that because they won the leg.

I liked Kelly, she got stuck in with the job and seemed very keen to explore a bit.

I thought she was massively overbearing and he couldn’t get a word in edgeways!

Mainly I can’t get over how different she looks without make-up!

I don't know what I'd have chosen on this first leg to be honest. We know they're going along the east coast of Brazil for a while, but they only have the first checkpoint and final destination.

If you thought you'd be cutting south west sooner, you might think it was your only opportunity to do any travelling along the coast.

I thought they were all ok. I don't like Scott Mills but his partner seems lovely. The actor and cousin will run out of money!!

I think the trouble with the Canada series was that on some legs there was only one way to reach a particular place so all teams were going to be on the same train and previously held leads counted for nothing.
I prefer it when the contestants can choose different routes and have different strategies

He's only 18/19 so maybe just does a bit of shelf stacking or bar work. It did seem a bit vague.

I have followed Jeff since his shipwrecked days so hope he wins.

I mean, actually, Kelly and her chap did exactly the right thing. Took some time out to experience the culture and then travelled like demons on hideous buses to catch the lead. Worked out well.

I love Kola and his cousin, it's a shame they are such inexperienced travellers

I felt the awkwardness through the screen when Scott and his husband were trying to communicate with the Jam family

Good start.

Just caught up. I love the regular series and as I’ve usually never heard of any of the celebrities this version is the same.

I knew Kelly Brook, I’ve seen Ted Lasso so therefore know the actor but I wouldn’t have recognised him, I’ve heard of Scott Mills but never listen to him. I didn’t know Jeff but I know who he is now I’ve looked him up.

The cousins seem to be focused on having a fun time, which is fine but they will run out of money.
I didn’t have a problem with Kelly Brook but I think it’s the husband will keep them on track.

About the filming…
On the ordinary show they have two people with them, filming and the like but they just follow them about, they don’t help. They also have a car load of people that are only ever a couple of miles away. They are doctors, security, that kind of thing.
There is also a car with a second film crew. So the person with them will call the second crew and say they stopped at Sometown Bus Station or Wherever Beach and the second crew will take establishing shots of the locations or drone shots of a similar train.

Just caught up. Loved it! One of my favourite shows on television

Jeff and Freddy are better than I thought they would be might find myself rooting for them. Freddy is the same age as Alfie and the other lad in the last series and seeing how they grew I hope Freddie does the same.

Kelly Brooke is basically what I would be like to an extent but I would be more competitive and more aware of the budget.

Know idea who kola is and I'm finding that pair the most annoying atm

I dont mind Kelly either and can see myself on her in some ways!(wondering how likeable I am now?) She is a bit overbearing however.
Likes tom not fussed on Scott.(turn radio off when he comes on)
Loved chicken lady and the granny "cheese" -so funny

The marmalade making granny was lovely! Also the chicken couple. Everyone so welcoming.

I only watched one episode of the last celebrity one. Can't remember why. But I think I'll stick with this one.

I like KB, I think she's coming across very well, whoever does the editing is definitely going to be trying to paint her as high maintenance and it's not working so far!
Not so keen on Jeremy but maybe she's so sunny he's gonna come across as miserable.
I wouldn't have thought I'd be a KB fan, but she seems very normal to me.
Love the cousins and how fabulous those dunes were. I've been lucky enough to travel a fair bit, and it must be tough to feel you've missed out on that opportunity or that perhaps it isn't for you. Good for them for having fun enroute. Sod the money running out, hope they have an amazing time.
I like Scott since he's moved to R2 and is acting his age, finally, but talking of age, I can see that having a younger partner could be great, but man does Scott look old next to him!

Just watched it, not a fan of KB since reading about her hitting her boyfriend.
never heard if the “ted” guy. They need to watch their budget.
