That was good. Can’t believe Kelly came first though.

Jeff was on the One Show this evening (with Scott and Sam), saying how he had wanted Freddie to have a big experience, as Bobby's done quite a bit but Freddie hasn't. He pointed out that the other couples were 'equals' as adults, but as Freddies dad he always felt responsible for him. It was lovely to see him encouraging Freddie to take a more equal share in the decision making. I hope they win.

I'm also shocked Kelly came in first.. her husband isn't messing about 😂

Love Jeff and Freddy and Kelly and Jeremy. Not too fussed on the others, but loving the show so far :-)

Oh it's amazing, all of it (except perhaps Canada, S3, which is a tiny bit dull) but the rest of it, absolutely brilliant!

I wonder how Jeff and Freddie got to the checkpoint in the end? They were starting to hitchhike, but then we next saw them when they got there. I imagine they got a taxi like the others.

Really don't like Kelly Brook, total pain in the arse, her DH has the patience of an absolute saint. You can tell Jeff Brazier does life coaching, he's full of the active listening and psychobabble but Freddy seems nice enough. The actor guy and his cousin are absolutely hopeless and clueless.

Out of all of them, Scott and Sam to win.

And someone PLEASE tell the men that it's "obrigado" if you're male, "obrigada" for women....

Having to root for Scott and his DH. Everyone else is already annoying us!

I love Scott Mills.
Years ago I didn't but ever since he's been on Radio 2 I've liked listening to him.
He's calm and very funny.

I'm the opposite, I can't bear him on the radio - I find him deathly dull. Maybe seeing him on this will change my view of him! His DH seems nice.

Really enjoyed this. Love the locations. Kelly is very annoying and needs to remember the bbc are paying her to race not holiday. Her husband is the only reason she'll finish this. Like the braziers jeff had a tough upbringing and obviously didn't want his boys to have the same he has done well by them. Really like Scott Mills fiance he's got his head screwed on no heirs and graces about him. Don't know the actor but him and his cousin seem like great fun, hope they learn from leg one and improve. Looking forward to episode 2

I think kelly lives quite a chilled life, day to day and she doesn't know how to rush, she possibly has alot of things done for her and lives to a schedule. She doesn't come across as overly high maintenance, happy to get dirty with the mandrake and even though she washed her hair, she didn't style it.
She must have an element of competitiveness to have stayed in the public eye for all these years but maybe she's saving that to nearer the end.
Weirdly compared to most other comments on here, I didn't warm to her husband

I cannot see anything wrong with Kelly. Actually quite like her. Honestly, what are people not liking about her?
I thought her husband was a po-faced arse tonight.

I felt a bit unsure of all the couples/pairs except Kola and his cousin. There was just a bit of tension there subtly or less subtly which I assume the producers built in. Interesting that Freddie commented about his dad wanting to talk ,then walking off. Looking forward to seeing how the series develops.

I enjoyed that. I'm looking forward to seeing more of all of them.

Kelly's husband is extremely competitive, but she's a bit more chilled and wants the experience as well as the speed I think. I was surprised he was Italian, he sounds French to me!

I honestly don't know whether I could do it or not. I love the look of the scenery, and the wildlife but there was a preview of an absolutely horrendous looking loo in the next episode...

I liked them all actually. I think Kelly’s husband is French, but can speak Italian. I think the actor and his cousin seem the least clued up. But none of them are awful I don’t think.

Jeremy was apparently born in Italy and grew up in France. While neither are Spanish or Portuguese I do think there should be enough similarities that they'll have a slight advantage when it comes to language at least.

Those dunes were absolutely stunning. Kola and Mary Ellen have been partying it up so far, I just hope they don't waste too much budget that way.

The Canada series was amazing, but then I'd been to most of the places they visited and loved seeing the scenery again as it's just stunningly beautiful.
