So, currently broadcast (and just caught up with) Friday 2nd August. Recap:

Jack - been charged with arson with intent to endanger life (Hope seemed pleased!)
Paul - going to donate his corneas to MND research, much to Bernie's dismay
Beth - lost box of fake t-shirts and told Carla where to stuff her job

How were Gemma and Paul going to raves in the 90s. They were only born in 1990.

The song ‘Show me love’ Bernie claimed was Paul’s favourite is a house track not rave. I think it was originally released in 1990.
It’s likely Paul would have listened to this type of music at home (played by Bernie.)
The twins could have gone clubbing in the late 2000s. Most places generally wouldn’t have played this type of music automatically during this period.
However, I’ve requested house music during the 2000s and heard it played in clubs/bars so it’s possible Paul did too.

With the rave, why was it squashed between the kebab shop and streetcars?

It looked very weird that they appeared to be dancing crammed onto a square of Astroturf.

It did look silly. When Bernie mentioned closing the street, I thought it’d be when the Rovers is, down there so more spread out

The producers missed a trick. Everyone knows you run a competition, win the opportunity to be an extra on Corrie. There could easily have been 200 winners. Does no one think outside the box any more? 😆

I had visions of Bernie scrabbling around on the ground, snivelling and trying to put him back in the urn.

I was sure the ashes would go for a hop too, but I thought it would be Billy scrabbling around crying his eyes out.

Why did Fizz and Tyrone end up telling the girls about the termination?
I heard them tell Hope it was a false alarm and she wasn't pregnant after all. Did they guess the truth?
