Yes, the subtitles are right across the boats so you can either see the athletes or the subtitles. Not great BBC.

I think it's a good idea it gets multiple countries in one shot. I remember London's teams took fucking ages and that was s a snoozefest too. I think people are remembering it with rose tinted glasses. The good bits come after the procession
