I can barely remember 2012, so it can't have been that special 😂 I know you Brits want to believe it was the best Opening Ceremony ever, and will never be topped but I found a lot of it boring - and suspect the reason I barely remember it was because I kept going in and out of the room to do other things.

I got invited to stand on a bridge for that, but couldn’t go, was really disappointed - until the day , when I thanked my lucky stars I wasn’t there.

The lack of any decor is a bit shit- it wouldn't have cost much to have a country decor on the windows or a bit of swag on the sides to bring them up.
