I'm not sure I like Rhaena taking the place of Nettles as seems to be happening. It doesn't fit with the story as I've read it in the book for a very obvious reason. I won't give spoilers but wondered if I was the only one to think this?

There's been a lot of speculation on this. I think that all the footage of her travelling in the wilderness is setting her up to be Nettles. It could work but surely Rhaenyra's response would be different if she's Daemon's legitimate daughter rather than a bastard. think I like it. It'll need finesse.

I enjoyed the series as a whole: the only thing wrong with it was that that's the wrong place to end it.

But Nettles's story was always a bit ambiguous...

The ending of Nettles' story is ambiguous yes, but Rhaneyra's role in it isnt and I just can't see it working well if the part is played by Daemon's daughter. I hope @winteriscomingknitfaster Is right though! Either way it'll be interesting!

Nettles is being changed significantly so I don’t think the book ending for Nettles will be the same at all. My guess is it’ll become more wholesome. Much like Alicent’s reasons for usurping Rhaenyra’s throne.

I think he makes really interesting points about the way that small changes have large implications for the future but I can't get too worked up about it.

Yeah that’s kind of what I thought too.

they’ll work around it all. Although I agree his version is going to be better.

That said, he needs to get back to writing ASOIAF and stop pissing about on other projects.
