So martin freemen is back as crisis ridden police officer Chris Carson

S2 is set 6mths after s1

Chris is trying to rebuild his life by being a better father and survive the corruption that sucked him in s1

Still desperate to escape nights he agrees to do his old boss a favour which ends up dragging him into a murky case involving drug dealer franny

Watched the first one tonight blondes and enjoyed it

Just watched the first episode. Can someone explain the whole thing about the set up with the drugs/gun? Why dud Debs want the guy locked up? And what was Chris' logic for backing out when he found the gun instead of drugs? Sorry for the stupid question, I know it's probably obvious!

I’ve watched 2 episodes and really enjoying it! I’m glad series 2 of this has been released as after finishing Blue Lights I had nothing else to watch!

I quite like all the flawed characters but yes surely an experienced PC would've thought this is strange, a conveniently unlocked garage with a gun sat there in and envelope and just left it.

Also surely if doing a raid for alleged drugs they have to have armed police and back up. Just seemed a bit daft in an otherwise good episode.

Another very good depressing police drama ( like Blue Lights ) and yet I still watch and am sad anout the state of the world.

What the police have to contend with 🙄
And I know there are bad apples.

The drug dealer is obv something thing to do debs ex and father of her child -

Guessing that's why she wants him banged up and why she couldn't do the pull over in the car and why she wants him banged up as in her way /being an arse ex maybe

I don't R.E.M. Rachel's ex Steve - what did he do to her and why does her boss want her to complain about him

Sad to see the girl from s1 still on drugs and no money

I thought end of a- Chris have her money to sort her sled out

She obv spend on Drugs and back on the habit

Not sure why they all think Chris is a nob head at work

And won't take him off responses d work days

Seems Rachel also wants fo get off response

Does no one like working response

Why is Chris is so much debt ? And paying for communion dress by self

Plus at 95 and 60 and 105 (will he get there By 11 sat) even stealing his dads money .....

£260 is a lot for a little white dress for his daughter

But all in all. Was good and enjoyed and can't wait for e2 next week

Yes seems awful job

But horrible his boss said no he can't go into day duty and wouid be refused

I don't understand why so much emphasis is put on 'the day job'. I've worked nights, yes you can feel crap but from a childcare point of view they're actually quite good, school drops and picks up etc much easier as a 12hr day shift you're reliant on others.

Also nights aren't 7 nights a week, you get days off obviously.
