Being Human on ITV, although maybe a bit gory at times for you? It's billed as comedy horror drama, but the comedy drops off, series 3 also starts ticking a few sci-fi tropes.

Isn't there a western sci Fi on Prime? On the Range or something, I keep meaning to find and watch it.

This is US is fab.

ITV X Orphan Black – beyond excellent (5 seasons) and Orphan Black echoes (only one season)

Altered Carbon – beyond excellent but it's on Netflix
