Once again Channel 4 brings us a car crash scientific experiment. Singletons are matched with two potential partners - one that they would want and one that the producers science judges they need. After 48 hours of meeting, they have to move in together.
There appears to be some kind of MAFS-esque dinner party involved too.

I don’t think Matt is controlling. Someone who, a week ago, was telling him they didn’t want to go and spend the week with the other guy all tearful just swanned back in with the other guy, clearly enamoured- it’s no wonder he was upset. Yes he told her a few harsh things, but he was right - what she had said was worth nothing. Ok you might change your mind, but do it with a bit of empathy for the other person.

Yes I think Danielle won’t accept Mike’s indecision. She said he was stroking her leg under the table while talking to Kelly as though he was so unsure. She sounded annoyed. And the preview of the next episode showed Kelly casually slipping in that she’d slept with Mike, and Danielle looked shocked. I don’t think Danielle is daft enough to do the pick me dance. So yes Mike May end up with Kelly, but is she daft enough to accept someone she’s got because the other person walked away? I remember being in my late 30s and wanting children, and I did seriously consider some Mr Wrongs at the time because my clock was ticking. I hope she doesn’t.

I think Jazz is very easily led. She looked genuinely perplexed when Matt questioned her about her 'repeatedly saying she loved him' I think he love bombed her. Matt is very driven, and is out there for exposure for his life coaching business and podcast.

As usual, it attracts those who are seeking attention, but the producers always make sure that they sprinkle a few fragile people in there, too.

Either way, it's starting to feel rather uncomfortable now in the same way that MAFS does, and is why I ultimately stopped watching it.

I think Kelly is genuinely there to find love. And I am not sure how many of the others are really. Except perhaps Danielle. Most are just there for publicity.

It's on southhemitv - I have always watched mafs on my laptop but then discovered screen mirroring this week (late to the party) so have watched series 1 on TV. Slightly different format but great!

Dan is insufferable. Never mind just mentioning his ex on a first date, it was virtually all he talked about. What with that, his tiresome droning about how well travelled he is and constant references to trauma - it’s far too heavy going for an initial connection. He doesn’t seem at all well suited to Amy though. And has now declared himself asexual in desperation 🤣

I really like Mike (not bad on the eye either) but I think he needs to be a bit more assertive and decisive. I’m almost sure he’ll go for Kelly because she’s so insecure and he feels guilty, plus they had the initial connection. He seems to see Dani as more of a fun/ playful connection rather than long term. It’s all very well people saying ‘oh I didn’t sign up for this’ but surely if you were that uncomfortable you’d walk away??

Lloyd must realise he’s screwed his chances in any new dating show since he’s already admitted he’s there for the money … what a bellend. Emily is quite fiery, I like her! Danika is ridiculous.

I really like Mo and feel sorry for how quickly he was sidelined. Zaralena is stunning but her outfit … wtf?!

Brodie … omg. She’s totally bonkers. She would do my head in but at least she’s entertaining …

When she’s not being ridiculously fiery and loud, Brodie can occasionally talk a little sense. But she fires up her gob so quickly!

I actually don’t think Dani is as pretty as Kelly, and I think Mike is probably too old for her. But I want them all to doing the pick me dance. If he’s not able to choose between them I’d wager neither are his Mrs Right.

And yes Mo comes across as a really kind, sensible guy. Worth ten of Lloyd. But Mo probably realises he dodged a bullet!

After just saying all of that... it's driving me mad that I've seen Amy somewhere before. She's probably been on Dinner Date or similar.

Amy is Dan's new / second match. Blonde hair, London accent. I think. God it's so confusing.

I have really enjoyed this show. I think Canadian guy will pick Kelly but really he should run a mile. She's so insecure. Saying that I don't think she'd ever leave him whereas things could just not work out with the other one.

The blonde girl with Matt(?) and Jack is annoying me slightly but she seems very young. I do get vibes that Matt could be a bit more sinister / controlling as he was being quite mean to her at the dinner party.
