Once again Channel 4 brings us a car crash scientific experiment. Singletons are matched with two potential partners - one that they would want and one that the producers science judges they need. After 48 hours of meeting, they have to move in together.
There appears to be some kind of MAFS-esque dinner party involved too.

It seems a bit horrific if they weren’t told it was going to be a love triangle. No wonder Kelly keeps saying I didn’t sign up to this

I just watched this over the past couple of days - so good!

Kelly is OTT. She was literally shaking. Surely someone has realised she is not cut out for the process and surely he'll pick the other girl who is not batshit?

I guess love triangles is the title of the show so sounds quite likely that will happen next (poor Kelly)

I mentioned this upthread. I can't find anything online to say it originally had a different working title, but it may have been sold as Love Triangle to the contestants in a simplistic way (as in, person picks from one of two possible matches) and left out all the shite about moving in as a Love Triangle with the other match.

During the wait I have been watching season 1 of the Australian one. The houses in the the UK one in my opinion) are much nicer and production value higher. Just as good - but not the same format. No retreat Welsh or otherwise for the 1st choice ones whilst the choosers get to know the 2nd choice. Brutal!

Brodie has an adult entertainment website. She must have told Dan and he found it, joined it, got nude pics of her and shared them with presumably one or more of the other guys. Not nice behaviour from him.

I started watching this and really wish I hadn’t in a way - it’s genuinely uncomfortable tv. I feel like Kelly will need therapy after this. Of course I’m going to have to watch it till the end now! I feel sorry for Kelly, Danielle and Matt, the rest I’m a bit meh about and Brodie and Danika are pretty vile and love stirring the pot. I’m sure them all living together will go just fine and dandy…

I don’t understand why Kelly and Matt would even continue at this point. Especially Matt, when Jazz has cruelly and blatantly done a volte face on him. And as for Kelly, well Mile hasn’t chosen either yet and is confused- not good enough, it’s not going to go anywhere. And I think the second girl is already thinking that.

Choux I cannot believe how slippery Dan is! Not only has he done this mean thing. But also he is now cross with Ally that she has admitted it!

I believe they thought it was called Love Match and not Love Triangle.

What do we think will happen with Canadian mike's triangle?

He is massively running the risk of losing both of them... but I think if he doesn't make his mind up soon then Danielle will want to keep her dignity and bow out.

I think Kelly will hang on in there for longer.

I felt sure at one point that Danielle was who he would pick but then last night raised a question. Or was he only spending more time with her as he was feeling so guilty?

I thought (can't remember her name) and Danika were completely out of order to Kelly last night. It was said in a very unkind way at a time when she was already in a v awkward situation at her end of the table.

As others said - how can those younger ones possibly have any idea how difficult it can feel being in Kelly's position as a 38 year old woman who wants children. That's where her insecurities come from for sure, but calling her out in public on it in such a horrible way was tough to watch.

Are they going to squeeze a whole week of them all living together in one final episode tonight or have I got that wrong?

I have a feeling Mike will choose Kelly.

Yeah, I think he will, too. They are just dragging his 'indecision' out for the drama. I've been wondering who he reminds me of, and I think it's Callum Best (facially, vaguely, but also something in his tone of voice, too)

I don't think I like Matt very much. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's a bit controlling / manipulative. I know that Jazz screwed him over, but I also wonder if he has a bit of a victim mentality. I can well imagine him telling her to stick with him for the 'good telly' as she said he apparently did.

I see they are advertising for the next series. Anyone tempted?

Just watched the latest episode. I wonder if Mike will pick Kelly as she now seems more reliable in terms of she isn’t going to just turn round and tell him to sod off. But I feel like it would be pretty difficult for any good relationship to come from this programme as they are all in a pretty horrible situation and not showing their best sides.
