Once again Channel 4 brings us a car crash scientific experiment. Singletons are matched with two potential partners - one that they would want and one that the producers science judges they need. After 48 hours of meeting, they have to move in together.
There appears to be some kind of MAFS-esque dinner party involved too.

It is proper car crash tv, not sure I will stick with it.

At least on MAFS the participants are offered some guidance and insight into their behaviour. This just feels like throwing people to the lions for sport.

I'm on Episode 2 and I've only seen Simon's eyes so far and heard his voice, but I'm sure he's the lad who was matched with Cecilie on Celebs go dating last year.

Agree @MarjorieStuartBaxter! He is the worst. My jaw genuinely dropped when he said what he did to Danika. They are both selfish idiots - they deserve each other.

Also thought it was incredibly insensitive of Mike to choose who he did at the dinner party after the chat he had with Kelly although I feel like her need to be constantly reassured might derail things anyway. I think she could do with some therapy.

Dan is like those annoying uni students back from a gap year constantly talking about their travels and how enlightened they are.

How many times did he mention his Trauma and Pain? It was so over the top. Also, if his ex blocked him from her life, there's usually a reason.

Just watched all three eps after falling asleep during them when broadcast.

Weirdly he was much more normal with the new lady. I don’t think he even mentioned his ex or pain.

I think Mr Travelling-Trauma actually learnt something from his first match, as he was asking questions, and not talking about his 'trauma'.

I did love that his first match told him she didn't care about his trauma. Having come straight from watching MAFS Australia where a lot of the women are cast into the role as therapist and go along with it, this made a refreshing change!

I wonder how this programme was 'sold' to the contestants. I'm guessing they didn't have the working title Love Triangle at that point.

It's obviously come as a shock to some of the people who were attached to their matches. Kelly was particularly upset and said she 'didn't sign up for this'

Again, I'm wondering how they can make a second series now that the 'twist' is no longer going to be a shocker. I guess it might be part of the appeal going forward.

I have watched all 6 episodes and it is so much better than MAFS.

The weddings on MAFS were so boring and then the "therapists" were so
annoying.

LT moves so much more quickly.

The woman with the Canadian, shaking and bottom lip wobbling, is just too much for me. She's too vulnerable for this.

It is too cruel a show for someone like her whose biological clock is ticking.

Same, it's pretty uncomfortable viewing, I feel bad for her. The Canadian guy is really lovely.

She is way too full on and serious about him so soon, and keeps going on about "how they've built something really great together." After a few days !!! Come on!! Guys hate that neediness . I saw him starting to recoil in episode 3 even before he met the other match! I'm really embassrased for her ! She looks like she is losing it and very desperate!

I would put money on him switching allegiance to the second girl.

Yeah I reckon he will too. I do feel for Kelly because she's being put through the wringer here, but unfortunately her panicking and neediness is going to push him towards the other woman.

What do you think the text is? That they have to choose which of their two partners to go home with?

I feel sorry for her too. This programme is enough to make anyone insecure! I think Kelly is prettier. If she had any sense she’d walk out now. Being not sure which he wants is as good as a no! Although he’s very good looking.

Ive just tried to find the next episode but it’s not there. I can’t believe there’s another week of this.

I think it's either that or they're supposed to move in with both of them.
