i really enjoyed s1

The new trailer ( gives a fresh look at the show's returning characters, including new PSNI recruits Grace (Siân Brooke), Annie (Katherine Devlin) and Tommy (Nathan Braniff), alongside Stevie (Martin McCann), Helen (Joanne Crawford) and Sandra (Andi Osho).

Fans also get a glimpse of new characters for season two, including new Constable Shane (Frank Blake) and siblings Lee (Seamus O'Hara) and Mags (Seána Kerslake).

The new episodes will follow Grace, Annie and Tommy a year after the events of the last season, with the officers faced with a gangland feud that culminates in a "violent and devastating confrontation".
"Tensions are high," Helen says in the trailer. "We're policing an area that could explode at a
ny minute, and we're flying completely blind."

Her taking Happy to an and e, stopping for a chat in the street and going to his for a cup of tea was all to waste time wasn't it? All selfish.

Do we think she used her boss in series 1? She looked upset when she ended it.

Her mum won't be impressed if she finds out brown hair boss lady knew.

You would think her mum would have encouraged her to take up law. How embarrassing for her.

She became more likeable as series 1 went on, for me. The breakthrough was when she got involved with that lonely man, the one who is now running the soup kitchen who she turned down dinner with the partners to see. Early indications are that she is in the 'good egg' camp now!

I still think it was all done in her favour

I only saw a tiny bit of series 1 and couldn't get into it but just saw ep 1 of this series and it's okay . Not sure who anyone is but will carry on !

Jen wasn't a trainee in series 1, she'd been a police officer for a few years but wasn't good at it & used shagging her boss to keep her safe & off the streets.

It’s great to see so many female lead characters in this.

The conversation with the senior lawyer sounded like an end of training contract chat. He said all three trainees would make fine solicitors but they can only take one on - Jen. So I took it from that, that the series had gone on a year or two and Jen was about to qualify as a solicitor.

Mind you, even if she had her law degree she'd have need to have completed her legal practice course as well.

Ah ok. Perhaps she has just been taken on as a trainee then.

I thought he said about offering her a training contract so I assumed it was the start of her training but to be fair, no idea what her and the other 2 were doing there for the past year if not already on a training contract.

I found Grace really irritating in series one, and having just watched the first episode of series two, I don't think see that changing.

Will stick with it for the others, though won't be the same without Gerry!

Have you noticed how blue everything is? It's deliberately lit with blue tones, which makes anyone with blue eyes look like their eyes are painted in!
