Yah. It’s back. S2 !!!

whoop

starts mon 15th and on weekly

i really enjoyed s1

The new trailer ( gives a fresh look at the show's returning characters, including new PSNI recruits Grace (Siân Brooke), Annie (Katherine Devlin) and Tommy (Nathan Braniff), alongside Stevie (Martin McCann), Helen (Joanne Crawford) and Sandra (Andi Osho).

Fans also get a glimpse of new characters for season two, including new Constable Shane (Frank Blake) and siblings Lee (Seamus O'Hara) and Mags (Seána Kerslake).

The new episodes will follow Grace, Annie and Tommy a year after the events of the last season, with the officers faced with a gangland feud that culminates in a "violent and devastating confrontation".
"Tensions are high," Helen says in the trailer. "We're policing an area that could explode at a
ny minute, and we're flying completely blind."

s1 is on iPlayer if haven’t seen and def need to watch it before s2

No such thing as delayed gratification for people nowadays. 😀
They want it all and they want it NOW !!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2024 20:47

Agree @LadyEloise1

By all means show it all once the 6/8 episodes have been shown

Anyone know the filming location for the parade of shops about 7 minutes into the first episode? What they called Spire Street for the programme?

It doesn't feel as gripping this time 🫤

Clawdy · 15/04/2024 22:52

Felt a bit long, but the pharmacy scene was gripping.

Arconialiving · 15/04/2024 23:37

I loved it, thought it was a brill episode!

Love that all the characters are back, including Jenny & Happy & love the references to Gerry!

Fab first episode!

lul1 · 16/04/2024 07:02

I'm still thinking Gerry might appear but I know he can't.

I still can't get over him being killed. I've never been this angry at a character being written out 😝😝

Commented lots on the last thread under a different name.

LadyEloise1 · 16/04/2024 08:05

God it's sooo depressing though.

First episode was a slow-burner but by the end I was hooked. Really glad Jen is back as I'd assumed she wouldn't be.

Me too @SevenSeasOfRhye

Yes good to see her Elsewhere

She was quick getting her law degree and solicitor's exams or had she already got them when she was on the fast track police programme ?

Arconialiving · 16/04/2024 23:42

She already had her law degree when she joined the police. i assumed she always wanted to be a solicitor but was pressured into the police by her mum. She's not a qualified solicitor yet as she has only just been offered her trainee contract.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 17/04/2024 07:27

the loss of gerry was just so wrong

at least they have mentioned him

i might be a bit critical of this series though, why was the new solicitor/ex police trainee, daughter of boss, working late on her own
the relationship of the two might be annoying
i might have to resist posting and try and enjoy for what it is, or promises to be
